  • GOSH.

    I freaking love Ramin.

  • thats so awesome!!!Where do I get the DVD?!!!!!

  • @lilloyo1015 get it online at walmart

  • killian donnelly is the only raoul i like, literally. he's so good in this. and sofia is so lovely.

  • @trumpetninja9 yes. In fact I just downloaded it from there.

  • Any chance this is on iTunes?

  • Bring me out of my ignorance. What is the Cast for this? Last year I was commenting arround on recording The Phantom with the Love Never Dies cast, but... this isn't that, right? xD

  • HELLO FROM NASHVILLE,TN

  • Where's the love button?

  • Is the DVD out in the USA now? I want to go find it for my younger brother who has autism but he loves the broadway version and the 2004 movie version

  • @SapphireDrama I have Asperger's and one of my fixations is "The Phantom of the Opera". =)

  • @SapphireDrama it was just released this past tuesday...i ordered mine...cant wait to get it!! you're an awesome sister! :)

  • @SapphireDrama It came out on Tuesday, you can get it on amazon for around 20 bucks

  • This is one of the Best Musical Play I've ever seen, from start to finished, Thumbs Up for Andrew Lyod Webber and the whole cast. especially the end credits when i think the former cast of phantom of the opera sings. especially my all time favorite SARAH BRIGHTMAN.

  • When does this come out in us?

  • Why did they put the falling chandelier in the trailer if it *actually* did not fall in this version of the show?

  • Dissapointed the Chandelier does not move, just loads of pyro........

  • I was given the Blu-Ray and DVD combo for Christmas- best present I've ever received. Was also handed a pair to tickets to see it on Broadway next year too!!! I hope Ramin is playing the Phantom- he is amazing. I cry everytime at the end...

  • @UchihaHelena I just got to go up to NY in November for my birthday to see it...its completely mind blowing. Iv watched the 25th anniversary video and although its amazing on its own the real thing will blow you away! Also, Hugh Panaro was Erik when I seen it but oh no worries, just wear water proof make up....

  • Christinee's wig is attrocious in some of these shots.

  • Unfortunately, the DVD and Blu-Ray release of "The Phantom of the Opera at the Albert Hall" got delayed to February 7th.

  • @pm41224 I saw the DVD in the store yesterday

  • Saw this on November 2, 2011...on broadway. This was the most amazing thing I have ever seen! :)

  • Imagine seeing this on the big screen. It was awesome.

  • please watch me singing til i hear you sing from the sequel love never dies in my videos :)

  • Ironically this trailer's from 2009, yet Ramin played the Phantom... :D

  • I have the one with Webber wearing the blue shirt. From the up-loaded vids YouTube, there is apparantly also one with him wearing a white shirt. I saw the blue shirt live myself. And the blue shirt dvd is the best. Better camera angles, the curtain call is better, ie: the phantoms, the fact that Sarah comes back on, etc.

  • @MrReed314 The Saturday performance with Lloyd Webber in a pink shirt, not white, was the better closing of the show as it wasn't rehearsed. This was Lloyd Webber at his best .. stammerig ... looking for words ... saying that Cameron Mackintosh was mad. Of course, Colm lso missed his cue ....

The Sunday performance with the worldwide broadcast, he obviously was reading mechanically from a teleprompter.

At the final performance of Love Never Dies at the Adelphi he also was unrehearsed and pure.

  • I just got the box set for christmas! I expected it to come with the dvd...of course, it had many marvelous things, pretty much everything but! lol

  • who plays christine in this video?..i know sierra boggess is in the other one.

  • @alyssheartsanime is Gina Beck

  • @alyssheartsanime Scenes are taken from the movie

  • @rockfleet except when phantom throws fire[fireballs] they should of had that instead of that sword fight!

  • Emmy Rossen's Christine is much more attractive :)

  • I watched this in the theater today, but I like the movie much more than this....the makeup and the stage are not that good....the singing and music, however, it's good

  • @felixwty2003 they had to redesign some of setting as stage is bigger than westend one, the makeup and special effects r good i thought

  • AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! CHRISTMAS PRESENT NO 1!!!!!! XD XD XD

  • Please watch my version of Till I Hear you sing in my videos :)

  • The Phantom Of the Opera DVD gets released on Feb. 7th

  • @MrSpideybcc It's already released in New Zealand on dvd.

  • It's in the Mail! No way am I waiting for the December Australian release.

  • Pre-ordered and GOT THIS YESTERDAY!

It's amazing <3 Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo

  • Can't get over the fact I was there and met the cast after :D xxxx

  • GAH. I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY?! :(

  • @kittykatmeow224 It's worse then that, The USA is Releasing The 25th Anniversary of Phantom of the Oepra on Feb. 7th.

  • @MrSpideybcc

wth you talking about. I'm holding it in my hands right now lol

    It released Nov. 14th dude.

  • @kittykatmeow224 It's worse

  • FYI - the 25th anniversary DVD that this clip is supposedly advertising really is radically different to the clips of the proper stage show shown at the start. The chandelier crashing etc ... it doesn't even crash in the 25th anniversary production. Sparks fly off it it. That's it. The staging is completely different.

  • AWESOME !!!

  • I HOPE THAT IS HUGH PANARO.

  • Heard the dvd is out on November 14th, is it the actual recording at the Royal Albert Hall ??

  • @susie1599 Yes I think so.

  • Pardon my French, but it's about f$%#@ing time!

  • Just back from seeing this at the cinema...it's the best performance of Phantom I've ever seen - so much emotion all in HD..touching, passionate, moving...I loved it!

  • my sister is gonna be Christine in the star princess dress my other sister is gonna be the Phantom im gonna be Christine in the All I Ask Of You cloak ^^

  • you know .. i love how they do tape this .. but why cant they do this for love never die's .!! ugh it erks me

  • @omgitsjordam1234 the australian version of love never dies was filmed in september and will be released in february/march

  • @omgitsjordam1234 There will be a dvd for Love Never Dies but it is Australian production.

  • Yes! So excited to own this!

  • Erik gets younger every year. Heh.

  • @raiu0009 why do you ppl always have to call him erik?! its only in the book! this is a musical!!!!

  • Why does the Christine in this trailer...not look like Sierra?

  • @screaminPirate Because she isn't Sierra, she's Gina Beck...

  • cannot wait for this; this is going to be the best christmas present ever! RAMIN YOU ARE AN ANGEL <3

  • ... and Cameron MacKintosh couldn't even figure out how to drop the dang chandelier.... GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

  • Now I have to ask - is this an actual staged version with the actors doing the dialogue and motion etc, or is it more like a "concert" where they just stand up, sing their bit, then go onto the next song? Either way it's got Ramin Karimloo so I won't be disappointed, but I'm wondering what to expect :)

  • @mashovasho Staged I watched it at the cinema :) Its amazing one thing though, the lack of dropping the chandelier

  • Actually, I want this DVD AND a DVD of a performance at Her Majesty's Theatre, so that the latter can include the EPIC -- !!! -- falling chandelier :D

...unless someone can transport me to London whenever I want so I can be in the actual theatre again -- once is not enough! Dear, I need a TARDIS... or even just a vortex manipulator :)

  • @angiem577 For putting a Doctor Who reference in a Phantom comment section, you are now my hero.

  • Saw this in the cinema last night... it was absobloodylutely brilliant. I'm in Australia and just ordered the commemorative bluray set for my father back in the UK... and just remembered he doesn't have a bluray player. Bugger, I'll have to nag my family to get him one for Xmas! :D

Anyway as soon as it's released her in Australia I'll be in to get it. It was just *so* good. Sierra's voice was just superb! :)

  • me and my brother went to see this on the 3rd when it was screening to our theater for one day! >w<

So excited to get it on DVD

  • ...now if only we can get Wicked on DVD, the world will be right.

  • Christine played by Sofia Escobar is much better than this one!

  • Will there be german subtitles? :I

  • October 2010

    Les Miserables celebrating 25 years,Cameron Mackintosh's production,Ramin Karimloo play Enjoras,an amazing show

    October 2011

The Phantom of the Opera celebrating 25 years,Cameron Mackintosh'production,Ramin Karimloo play The Phantom, i'm sure will be amazing

In the end these are two awsome musicals and Cameron an Ramin are everywhere!!!!

  • Please tell me this will be available in America!!!!!!!!!

  • Why do I have to wait til February to get it in the US?!

Can't they just have a simultaneous worldwide launch?

    Phantom forever!!

  • @gamesport88 February? B-but, I might not be in the US in February! What about releases in Asia? Anyone? I need this.

  • Ok folks be honest is the stage version better than the movie?

The movie was awful and i cannot fathom why they selected Joel Schumacher to direct it?

  • @johnyzero2000 I can say that I haw only seen it in my home country. But I loved it very much and my big dream is to see it in London. But I saw it one the stage before the movie and people like often what they see first rather than the second chose.

  • @johnyzero2000

I liked the movie, but honestly, do you really have to ask that question?

The stage version of ANYTHING is always better than the movie.

    :)

  • @johnyzero2000 The Stage is a masterpiece compared to the movie. that being said, it really depends on the cast . even with the worst cast it's still amazing but with a good cast it's incredible.

  • @johnyzero2000 I agree so so so so so much with u!!!!!

  • I saw this in theaters, and hearing Andrew Lloyd Webber's masterpiece in surround sound was simply indescribable! I get goosebumps just thinking about it :)

  • i am soooooo freaking happy ive waited sooooo long for this to happen , i cryed when i found out that is was goin to be on DVD woo hoo :)

  • YOU'RE TELLING ME I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER 14TH??

    LUDICROUS.

If you'll excuse me, I'm going to put myself in a medically induced coma until this day.

  • Im so excided!!^_^

  • Don´t anybody want to upload it? :D

  • NEED IT NEED IT NEED IT.

  • Phodood Ikr they don't do the Manakin and alot of stuff

  • gutted the chandelier didnt fall. got could stop laughing and then when sierra came out with this heavy welsh accent. omfg! couldnt breath "NO! Raool dont... its uselas."

  • I was disappointed that the stage was so small and that little elements of the show were taken out. The mirror when Christine faints, the elephant and most importantly the chandelier was very disappointing. Sierra WAS amazing. She is beautiful in so many ways and Ramin was wonderful. I would buy this still since Sierra and Ramin totally make up for it.

  • Don't let the preview fool you this show is nothing like the actual stage show. its completely different well the writing is the same but the sets is not the same its all led and the chandelier doesnt even crash

  • @Phdodd1987 so true

  • Is it still possible to get the dvd in november if you live in america because the usa is listed for preorder in november on the rug's website?

  • But will there be a DVD of other time performances than only this one, the anniversary?

  • Was at Royal Albert Hall last night!!!!!! Suffice to say it was one of the best nights of my life. The concert exceeds almost every expectation. Ramin and Sierra were at their best!!! Never seen a Final Lair so tragic or a Wishing so deep, passionate, and beautiful!!!!!!! Love love love love love. Also, MC and SB COME OUT ON STAGE WITH ANDREW!!!

  • I thought Christine was being played Sierra Boggess... that's not her... I really want to but it, but mostly if it's her starring in it. Any help?

  • @larrycucumber001 It definitely is Sierra. I just saw it in the movie theater last night! Check your local listings. There are more showings in select theaters, today (Oct. 6) and Oct. 11. Sierra and Ramin are just mesmerizing together. I've never seen such a touching final lair scene. I had to stifle my sobs so I didn't bother the people around me. This is a must see and really the only disappointment was that the Royal Albert Hall stage being smaller, they had to leave out the chandelier crash

  • AT LAST! thanks for coming to senses and releasing the best musical ever on DVD!! sorry, but the movie version simply can't put up with the brilliant stage production! I am so looking forward for getting this : )

  • @operaghostit oh I completely agree!!! It's so sad they didn't use stage actors for the movie!!! Apparently they were supposed to film it with Michael Crawford (love) and Sarah Brightman but the scheduling never worked out and they postponed it until Hollywood /the director thought they were too old : (

  • @operaghostit Totally agree! :)

  • Just saw the musical yesterday. Loved it! It was so fantastic. :) Must own the DVD.

  • @lindzz51690 They are perfoming the show. I dunno if it was like the normal show, but they were definately singing, dancing, acting. I believe only the scenery

     was different.

But Í'm nog entirely sure because i haven't seen the actual show.

  • @asirenfromthedeep Yes, it was staged differently than the Broadway/London/national tour version. The Royal Albert Hall is gorgeous but the size of the stage meant they couldn't have certain set pieces, like the elephant, or the chandelier crash, which was the most disappointing. But the cast was unbelievable and it was so worth seeing. Also, if you ever can manage it, try to see the live show!

  • After what I just saw last night, I am SO getting this DVD!

  • This was so wonderful!!!! :D

  • I just saw this today via Fandango Events in Florida. The entire production was perfect! I was blown away by the performancs of Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo. They brought me to tears! The final and extra performances of the evening was intense and exquisitely perfect!!!! I am definitely buying this when it comes out on DVD!

  • Someone just told me that the DVD is region 2 only. Is this true? If anyone knows please let me know. Region 2 means the DVD only works in Europe (correct me if I'm wrong)

  • Now the only thing that would make it even better would be, if Brightman and Crawford were in it.

  • just saw phantom at the royal albert hall in london, but i was in a movie theater in texas...technology.

  • Saw the concert last night and it was AMAZING!!!

  • MUST. HAVE.

  • *squeals with joy* yay!!! :D :D :D

  • Has anyone found out for definite that they are performing the musical normally? I really really don't want to hear them sing without acting out the entire production.

  • D: EXCUSE ME!!!!???? *loss for words*

    I just died of happiness....

  • Hopefully this is actually acted around not like Les Miserables where they just stood there :l

  • Is Sarah Birghtman going to be in the audience or what?

  • I want this.. ;-;

  • I've been waiting for this forever!! Ramin is my hero!! I'm going to cry I'm so happy!

  • Cool!

  • Have said they are definitely filming the 25th Anniversary concert at The Royal Albert Hall..I am going!!

  • Nov of this year?!?

  • I can't wait till 14th november!

  • yay!!!! DVD finally I`m so happy I can`t belive it I love phantom of the opera since I was a 9 years old :D

  • @Spamazoid I bet they'll be performing too, just like in the Les Miz concert.

  • First day buy!

  • too bad it's not the original cast :( that woulda been much better.

  • This has me suppppppeer excited! But why in the world does JOJ not get to play the Phantom. Sorry, but his Phantom is way better than Ramins.

  • Can't pre order it in the US!!!

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY I ONLY WAITED 4EVER!!!SO GONNA GET THIS

  • Is this going to be the filmed version of the 25th Anniversary Concert at the Albert Hall, or is it the West End show being filmed etc?

  • @MisterCrolla It's the 25th Anniversary concert which will be filmed. It's on the press release on the Phantom official website. I cannot contain my excitement!

  • OMGOMGOMG ! yeahhhhhhhhh!

  • All I can say is that IT IS ABOUT TIME. I would rather wait for this definitive version of the stage play to the movie.

  • lets just hope there wont be too many crowd and orchestra shots in the dvd, that always anoying me with musical dvds

  • So this means we wont get Michael & Sarah on dvd? :'/

  • @jonniephantom They are a little old to pull off their respective role. I think the best we will ever have is their concerts and music videos.

  • I thought it was going to be Sierra and Ramin. Those two are amaing, but LND was just not their show.

    Either way, so excited! :D

  • im having a hard time breathing!

  • Have people received there tickets yet??? Cause I haven't

  • I was slightly disappointed to hear that Ramin and Sierra were going to play the leads. They are good, but ideal (in my mind. I know a lot of people love them). Hopefully, the concert will be phantabulous! ALW needs some saving face after the LND disaster...

  • Anyone know how we can get the DVD and CD for the USA then please?

  • I'm so ready for this!!!! :)

  • I'm a little confused- is this a concert event like Les Mis or an actual staging of the show??

  • This. I will be watching every single day.

  • Although I was disappointed with the choices for the leads (really, JOJ is London's CURRENT and LONGEST-RUNNING Phantom), I am really hoping and crossing my fingers that this turns out to be good. I have been waiting for years for something like this, and if it goes the way of Les Mis, then...I have no hope for musical theatre ever adapting to screen.

  • @MissAliGrace I was hoping for him and Gina Beck. that would have been amazing. although, Ramin and Sierra are still good, and I could see the thought process in selecting them...

  • This is going to be so amazing!!

  • Finally! A decent DVD version of the ALW musical! *excited now* :D

  • @carihigs then you never saw the official movie version of the show...same awesomeness imho.

  • @JeepeeB I did see the movie version, actually. Many times. I was very disappointed, especially with Gerard Butler as the Phantom. He was a good actor and everything, but his voice...bleh. The movie just didn't live up to the stage version for me. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. :)

  • Finally, Ive been waiting for a good DVD version!!! gah!

  • *orgasms*

  • WHERE CAN I BUY THIS????????????????????????

  • OH MY GOD!! Hallelujah! Finally a stage production DVD! And with Sierra and Ramin (The greatest interpreters of Erik and Christine after Sarah and Michael-if you ask me) to boot!

The Phantom is having such a wonderful year! The spectacular Australian production of Love Never Dies, with its own DVD upcoming, and the 15th anniversary of Phantom in London. Do I need to say any more?

  • OH MY GOD!!!! I must buy this!!! Phantom is having a wonderful year! Thea Australian premiere and DVD of Love Never Dies, the 25th anniversary gala and with Sierra and Ramin to boot! I can't wait!!!

  • Im think i just cried

  • *dies of excitement* but please be better than les mis, actually have acting rather than just standing there. i will kill to play christine when im older haha .... :)

  • the only thing that could make me happier is if love never dies was also to be sold as a dvd :)

  • @AbdilainesBlackMagic" the only thing that could make me happier is if love never dies was also to be sold as a dvd :) "

    No.

  • @AbdilainesBlackMagic Love Never Dies on DVD will be released in Feb 2012 internationally. Actual release dates are TBC :D

  • I can't wait to get this. I hope we find out when it's released in the US soon...

  • What great news! Can't wait to get the DVD as I didn't get tickets for the show.

  • Why do you always show the ramin karimloo/gina beck footage? i hope its nothing like the 25th les mis concert lets hope it lives up to every fans expectations can not wait for the cinema viewing and the dvd

  • @Phantomgoast They probably show that footage because it's the best and most recent footage they have, it's of the London cast, and it has Ramin Karimloo in it.

  • @Phantomgoast The Ramin Karimloo footage is being shown because he is the Phantom in this production. They don't have footage of Ramin with Sierra in The Phantom of the Opera yet, which is why we see Gina here.

  • @Phantomgoast I never saw the 25th mis concert. I loved the 10th one.

  • @Phantomgoast Someone had told me, that their re staging the show for the RAH concert. :3

  • @Phantomgoast well ramin is going to be playing the phantom in this show and it's the latest footage they have

  • @Phantomgoast it is supposed to be an actual production I believe

  • @Phantomgoast it won't live up to EVERY fan's expectations, but hopefully MINE :)
