joe calzaghe is someone i have mixed views on! It is not his fault but he was around at a time when the premier middleweights had left or were over the hill (nigel benn, eubank, collins, mccallum) Why was it that he only chose to fight hopkins and jones when he did? My second point is this; out of all of the fighters whom one of you mentioned there name me one who was world class! Naseem was a phony who spent most of his career fighting europeans and over the hill mexicans, as soon as he went to the states he was exposed. Even in fights he won in the usa he was not impressive. Ricky Hatton was a great puncher but a boxer? NO. Lennox Lewis is the only one i will give you credit for there he was brilliant, lazy at times but otherwise excellent!
