I agree to a point. I decided to go pro and i didn't spend money typically where other people might. I only have one "pro" lens and 4 lenses total. You can be economical and take great shots. I just hate how much youtube is about the geek tech about photography rather than the art of making good photos

My point was, and is, I have a rather low salary, and I can buy the D700. Saying something is expensive isn't a good reason to not buy somehting, if you like you hobby, whatever it is.

I hd a job at a camera store so I go a discount and I still couldn't afford it. if all the money I earned went towards that camera and NOTHING ELSE.. it would only take 3 months.. but that's if I stopped paying rent, bills, buying food.. some people just don't have money

I read a review and is really happy for me the news cause now canon will answer replacing finally the 5d.... maybe not so good construction as a Nikon but, canon L and not only, lenses are the soul of the camera... still, it has to be a great camera this one.... I am a canon boy as well but i still do use a Nikon's F4 :)
