thats been around 4 years ford, chevy, n dodge race also its called pro compact but high 6s is about as fast as a 4 banger can go. there very hard on parts,n yeah thats impressive. but there some thing more impressive try 1000 hp per piston! 8000+ hp n thats from a v8 no one in the world can claim that!! they can pump out more hp but no track can hold that power.that power shake the ground makes your heart skip a beat.your brain raddles in your head. thats impressive.

@mrh20082008 his car must be a full tubed car with only the skin n dash as stock part. n striped of everthing 4 that 2 be in the 6s.n the pro class strap there head down with the same straps the top fuel cars use.sum even add more head bolts just to keep them on and seal right.after ever run they tare them down.alot of boost is hard on motors even v8 but harder on 4 bangers. thats alot of stress on 4 pistons! if the could get 4000 hp from a 4 would u think that would be over kill?

@AMXBOY73 yes, brent raus eclipse is a tube framed car, and everything is stripped with a fiberglass body, and yes, i think that 4000 hp would be overkill in this car (brent rau's) 4000 hp may not be overkill in another car ( say a 7000 lb suburban) but i personaly think that it is a waste of money/power if you cant get it to the ground. i'd guess that brent's car weighs no more than 1300 lbs, 2.5k more horsepower and he would not be able to hook up whatsoever. do you not agree?

Yes, Top fuel dragsters produce 8000bhp, but 50 % of that power is mostly pushed up with FUEL!!! NITROMETHANE is fucking explosive. Put that thing is small car and you will get also lot's of power. It's fastest ''cars'', but not production and not street legal, it's rocket science.

I'm watching Pro Stock, not always, but sometimes, and this engines are not even close to 2000 hp, nor 3000 hp, what are u saying. The engines are limited to 500 CUI (8200 ccm), and @ 10,000 rpm reach 1400-1500 hp.

What are u talking, Honda's street cars are broke that magic HP / liter before americans started to produce something stronger than 400hp at street.

Look at any Euro race car, it has poor-good torque, but they are light, as Formula 1.

Engines from late 80s -early 90s are able produce near 400 bhp per liter.

I said Top Fuel Dragsters produce lot's of power mostly because of FUEL that using, gives 50% more power, actually they using fuckin' explosive.
