I thank you for posting this .........Even beauty must die and it is so sad......I think it shows just how much is wrong with our world today that such youth and beauty should feel compelled to this bitter end.....

I'm so glad to have discovered tonight those magnificent fragments from the movie Aria ! I'll link Die Tode Stadt on Sunday (10.19) to my blog. You've chosen to bring the most moving and touching arias on Youtube. I remember a funny but stupid fragment of Rigoletto, but surely Wagner, Puccini & Korngold are those who remained in my mind.
