@Agustafson11 Yes it is Paleo (David Andrew Strackany) and he did write that song but it is still called the "World's Smallest Violin". Check his myspace page- it is the first song on the playlist.

Heh. I thought David intro'd the song as the above title and you were correcting the songwriter, neither of which happened. My bad...Check out Daytrotter for some super cool sessions of Paleo. Fav song there: "January 4th, 2007" ...enjoy!

he's now calling this one "the worlds smallest violin" and you can find it on his latest release 'a view of the sky' on partisan records...its a much different version and equally satisfying

this just gets better with each listen. the first line that convinced me this was not just a good song, but an epically good song was, "your whole life has been a race; between a pillow and a pretty soft place; you're not that tired." i love it.
