Could you imagine during the Rodney King beating if we had Youtube back then. The police would have been surrounded by angry citizens the next day or even by morning. The guy who videotaped the beating would have put it on Youtube and we would have seen it much sooner. If you send incriminating evidence to the Police Department's Internal Investigation
then expect your car to be pulled over on trumped up charges and your tail-light broken by the cop just like the movie Porkies.
They didn't go after the Mafia for 50 years, allowing them to grow because they had a picture of the "Director" in a dress. (or kissing a man I'm hearing lately)
I agree with submitting videos willingly but make a copy first and never, ever give your original footage!
I highly suggest that if you can not help a victim or situation and you have a camera, RECORD IT! Post on you tube first! Use your constitutional rights!

They tried that on me, I'm not that stupid. The pics weren't good enough, needed the negs.
I said no and despite a guy with his draw dropped in the pics of a beating, they said he said nothing happened.
That was Chief Guido, supposedly the most honest IAD guy but he was just as bad as the rest. Tuaght me just how corrupt they are
