Sorry guys but whats a Big Gig????? I know I sound stupid but is it just a long gig or what????? When I was in Guides, last year (thats how young I am!!!!) we went to "The Big Gig" to celebrate 100 years of girl guides but the acts were all modern shit like JLS and The Saturdays!!!!! Oh I would have loved it if The Cure or Bowie or The Stones, or even Elton John had been there!!!!! Would have stopped my eardrums bleeding.

Great to hear him say how he doesn't like to see fans short-changed by a short gig and parting with their money to save up for tickets. 1976 was a very special year indeed, as it saw the birth of one of the most, if not THE most important and influential bands in music history. 1992 The Cure performed for the first time in Orlando FL.I will never forget that show!! There was not just one encore but "three" I will never forget that concert!

I love this interview. This is perhaps one of the best interviews of Robert Smith, I have seen! I absolutely enjoyed it. I felt so happy with his remarks that I just clapped my hands. The best part is when he talks about David Bowie's gig and the Reading Festival in 1979.
