"Louis Fuller" is an anglicized name for Lucio Fulci. If you want to blame Terry Lavene and Aquarius Releasing. Not only did they butcher the film but tried to pass it off as an all American produced film.
Any chance of somebody uploading this whole thing? I read the gore scenes in this version are only severely chopped or truncated instead of totally cut out as the legend goes. I'll admit my curiosity's piqued to see a different version with a different score even if there's no chance it tops the original vision.
Does anybody know if 7 DOORS OF DEATH is in the public domain? I know that the uncut version of THE BEYOND holds a copyright but I just want to make sure.
I got Seven Doors of Death on DVD and the intro didn't look like this at all. It was just a general title card with a different soundtrack, anybody have on explanation?
@tamsWTFvideos Is it the Diamond company release? That's the one I have. It is the original, uncut version and original soundtrack...so why they used the "Seven Doors of Death" is Beyond (Pun XD) me.
Terrible!! The original theme by Fabio Fizzi was great, having an errily beutiful quality, but THIS music is totaly cheesy!! Terry Levine must've been some fuckin idiot!!

Wtf? shitty ass intro. I own the original DVD PAL DVD that has the original intro with uncut music, violence, and spider scene. LOL Louis Fuller? yeah definitely some western cut. I had to order the DVD directly from Europe since you wont find that shit here. Mmmm gore...

This is nothing like the DVD I bought, called Seven Doors of Death. It's the same movie as The Beyond, just with an inserted Seven Doors of Death title.
If you don't own this movie at all, Anchor Bay's DVD is out of print. Get the Seven Doors one. It's better than nothing.
Maybe the VHS, but the region 1 DVD is the same as The Beyond. I own it and it does not have this opening credit sequence or any of this music at all in it.
Someone on here used to have the entire movie uncut. That's the version that's on the Diamond DVD. And that damn (horrible) spider sequence is in it, the whole blasted thing.
That's terrible. Why did they do that? I'm not even a Fulci fan but I don't see why the distributors or whoever it was needed to change the title, music and director's name (wtf was that about?!)
