if anyone can tell me the name of this movie wich sophie appears, i will describe the scene, is at the end in the streets are many many dead ppl and dying ppl, i dunno if its for sword fighting or a plague, and sophie is being carried away in a charriot, i guest she had a yellow dress,

What a beautifully made video, I like it, it gives me the same feeling I have when I watch the movie..

This movie was one of my first period movies, I watched it in a very young age for the first time and I never forgot it..

Not to mention that I LOVE the lead actress, she's unbelievably pretty..

It's a beautiful movie and the end shakes me every time, a very sad and realistic end, and as I always thought they all deserve each other..

Have I perhaps misunderstood your meaning, or do you really think it was a SAD ending? Yes, they had to leave the manor/estate, but at least they stayed together as a family, and I had the impression that they wouldn't starve and will be happy. I liked that movie very much.

I am sure Charles was not penniless, and they would live some where in comfortable poverty, in my mind I wondered if they ended up going to the New World and starting where no one knew him with his friend in Ohio, lol.

Not sad for them of course, but I meant his wife, and what he had to do to her in order to have a family with his love and their daughter..

I liked it too, it's a very good movie..

Thank you, yes I think it is a bittersweet movie in some ways. She gets to find her daughter and falls truly in love with Charles, but in a way every thing is at a price :)

I don't know how I missed such a beautiful movie until last week, lol

I was so excited to see you had made a video for "Firelight." I discovered it one day by chance on TV and have seen it a couple of times now. So romantic and yes, sad and haunting. Deserves to be better known. Thank you for this lovely video. Five stars, fav and shared.

Angela, one of my favorite movies and you just captured it so perfectly. I think the music was wonderful with it.The movie has such a hauntingly sad feel to it.There is a starkness and sadness that you created so elegantly. 5 stars and in my favs and shared.
