really? that short? you must be doing something wrong cause im only on my second kit, and i got rock band christmas of 2007. my first kit got snapped at the base of the pedal cause my carpet didnt have enough support, and the green pad was snapping off cause, well when i first got it i pounded on the drums like hell LOL. but yeah mine have lasted pretty long, ive used them for rb1, rb2, and gh:sh. ive never had the need to get a different kit :\

There actually isnt a snare void. Lol. I kinda cranked up the volume on my music program, and like did some isolating. You can hear the drums. But its quite faint. I was using like noise canceling headphones and a creative 7.1 channel sound card so. Yeah. Crystal clear.
