What a "class act" that Robret Hight and Force team. they totally did the right thing. GOD BLESS such good people 'Who Recopnize these Situations and respond accordingly,..Good For Force team!!
i love the spirit of this, but honestly, i think scott kalitta would have been happier if robert had set a track record with that run. either way, a very fitting tribute to a great man.
Are you kidding me? Scott ?,A really nice guy? That guy was a dickhead. He was a rich kid who didn't have to work a day in his life. He walked around looking all pissed off all the time.
learn to respect him cause thts ur opinoin everyone eles cared for him obviously u dont so dont watch any of these videos if ur gunna argue over the dead!just FUCK OFF im sure ur used to hearing tht alot!!!
isnt it strange how Hight was supposed to run Scott Kalitta on this run, and todays race Hight went up against Jeff Arend in the DHL car for its first round since the accident
i was in the third row and when this happened the hair stood up on the back of my neck. there were a few seconds from when the lights went to the time he started moving and it seemed like forever. for the rest of my life i will never forget this moment, it was truly moving
Robert Hight is a repectful human being. I saw him at the LA auto show last year and he has a big heart for his fan. Watching this video as he idles down the track is amazing. He respect Scott kalitta and Eric Medlen at the same time. RIP to all the people who died in the NHRA.
Robert Hight has a big, kind heart. I saw this on espn 2, & I thought that it was a really nice thing 2 do. I even have a picture of Kalitta's crew & others standing on the line from my local newspaper. I will hold on 2 that. R.I.P. Scott!!!
You know I'm not a big John Force fan, but Robert Hight, even if he never gets to fly the big number one on the side of his car is already a great champion, a tribute like this just proves it. I still get tears in my eyes when I see this. Scott Kalitta will forever be missed, I hope and pray that Robert Hight will not only get to fly the big 1 on his car, but gets to do it many times over.
Robert is a nice guy and always fan friendly. I went to the race in VA last year, though John and Ashley weren't there, Robert still provided the fans with a great show.
Nothing but the best most respectful thing that Team Force and Robert Hight could have done for a fellow racer and the racing family. Scott was a wonderful human being, RIP.
WOW! I saw Hights' run on ESPN2 that sunday and the way he respected his Friend and co-racer still brings water to my eyes. That was one of the most respectful gestures I have ever seen in any sport. Thank you Robert Hight and the John Force Racing Team. Thank you for posting this video. Your awesome and your heart is huge. EM, SK and BK RIP. Continue to support your local Dragstrips. FYI they are running 1000 feet now for immediate safety for these drivers that do put there life on line for us.
RIP Scott. He couldnt have competed in a sport that required more heart, courage, or guts. He knew the risks but he loved the sport so much that the passion outweighed the risk. He died doing what he loved. Not many people get to go out that way.
I was there when scott crashed, I was destroyed when I heard that he died, I was in my hotel room. I couldn't be there on raceday, thank you for the video fellow, Scott, we all miss you man, you were the best, Thanks for the memoriesxx
This was the most Respectable thing i have ever seen. this brought tears to my eyes as i watched Robert idle down the track as scotts crew took his place. He gave away alot in that act of respect to Scott.
This was a very respectfull way to remeber and pay a tribute to scott kalitta my father is a drag racer i hope if anything happens to him i would want them to do the same thing......REST IN PEACE SCOTT KALITTA
that brought tears to my eyes. that is an amazing show of respect and i can't even begin to think of how they feel standing on that line.
