and to get you started in driffting get a

sil80 or camaro 89 that woud be the red one or the s.s.v,ea86 this cars need no tunning to star drifting but make shure you put road tires(I think they came with it)on them and also turn off the driven assistace tcs and acs and if you drive manual is even better

i don´t think there is any diference but i could be wrong but there i something that you can do to a car to get more horse power with out tunning it when you get a new or used car the first thing you do is changing the oil that will increase the horsepwr from 10 to 10 hrspwr (specialy if you win the car from a race)

Well, best thing suits that if you are driving a RWD, you can just turn off ASM, and Traction, and put Standard Tires. You can drift a GTR with the regular settings I just mentioned, but only thing difficult is, you need to set high grip tires to the front and low grip on the back.

No the car setting is the essential fordrifting. If you dont set your car its likes competeting in a cross country with no shoes... you wont run for long... the first thing you must does to drift is taking a RWD (rear wheel drive) car...drive it manual... and put ALL driving assistance to off... TCS and ACS. Put some road tire since they are the simulation to real life... and there you go... you should be able to drift without no big setting if you have good amount of hp.

ok but your skyline is an 4wd drive... itll be more difficult to drift since it has more grip...if you want to drift...make a setting, put off driving assist and put some road tires.

Nice video, it's nice to see a good drifter once in a while. I'm learning with a 150hp AE86 XD. I took a look at your wheels, and I thought: you are looking for the Initial D wheels, am I right? You need to get TO0281, those are the wheels you are looking for. At least those are the ones in my game. =D

i have been trying to drift in gt4 for a long time and your settings help me a lot. i was wondering about basic entering

do you enter full speed and turn right before? b/c i enter ok and hold for a second then the back totally spins on me exiting the corner

how do i avoid that oversteer?

Ok, first of all its because of my setting... the car is made for total intense oversteer :D...thats because of the toe front at positive 3. So if youre beginning to drift trying use toe front 1,youll see that the car is less sensible when you hit the analog...the reason why you oversteer its maybe because you dont countersteer thats much, and maybe youre putting to much gaz causing the rear to slip.. this setting its pure adreanaline D1GP quality, wide angle total quick countersteer. Keep it up
