sara sUDa nee e e e ... ko o o o ... wonderful varNaM ~ I remember I lernt this varNaM from my father when I was still 8 yrs old ... good old days ... Nirmala Rajasekar is certainly divine ~
Nirmala enjoys her concerts so much. Like her veena it is such a joy to see that wonderful smile on her face. When the artiste enjoys and plays the music that comes out is so lovely and wonderful to listen to. She is par excellence
Nirmala's wonderful rendition of Saveri brings back the memories of her teacher, Kalpagam Swaminathan. Her command and mastery of this beautiful instrument is spell bounding.
The way Saveri is played in this video is the best I have ever heard. Nirmala has cut deep into the ragam, bringing out such emotions it brings tears to my eyes. Please post more videos.
Great piece in Raga Saaveri. Truly an authentic piece/Varnam to open a concert with. Nirmala's expertise in handling this devine instrument "Saraswathy Veena" reveals her dedication, learning and her life long committment to this great art. Would like to see and listen to more of this awesome Vainika (Veena player/musician).

A fine example of why Saveri is best heard on the veenai. Really appreciate the depth in this rendition. Thank you, Nirmala.
