  • i just cooked it using this recipe, its very tasty, i think i could finely chop the oniones better. to the people complaining about the marinading of chicken - busy people dont have the time, and this recipe is just perfect and easy to make

  • somewhat decent..I heard better..

  • very nice recipeeeeee

  • This is not the way to cook the chicken...the chicken has to be marinated with yoghut and spices for several hrs and then used not like this...plz cook indian in the way it is meant to be!!

  • great video ....... recipe seems easy thanks a million

  • Excellent video.thank you for the recipe.

  • It was nice but I set the pan on fire :(

  • ingredients are many

  • please i need the recepie for earlobe tikka masala.

  • so tidy. thanks for uploading.

    Cheers V

  • you might as well just go to an Indian restaurant in the time it takes to make this....

  • Not authentic, and not even very good. The chicken needs to be marinated and grilled first, or it isn't the same. Too many other problems to list here.

  • very nice!!!...I follow all the instructions and my hubby said... this is the best thing u have ever cook 4 me darl!! so yeah i think this video is pretty good.

  • NICE

  • thanks i made it and it was a little to spicy

  • Very good. I tried it and it is delicious.thanks

  • I DON'T HAVE GARAM MASALA !!!

  • it looks nice and the tutorial is nice made but i am missing the grilled vegetabels and the meat sholud be griled before too and also the meat should be in a sauce for a day or at leat a lot of hours

  • Its not chicken tikka masala it is just chicken masala

  • If I want more gravy with the chicken, at what stage would one add water?

  • @amzish123 that was the worst joke that ive ever heard, plus you are the one that is stupid, you cant even spell dumb properly, f*ck off and get a life!!!

  • Hi.........This is definately not the way to cook chicken tikka masala.. Kasuri methi is one of the main ingrediens which is used in chicken tikka masaka, which you missed completely. Also chicken is never cooked on the flame. It has to be roasted in ovan. So that chicken retain is taste and thickness.

  • masala is urdu word well nice .

  • @R0shAni I typed masala into an online translator and went through all the languages into English, all of them just translate back into masala...

  • I tried this recipe and it tastes almost like a well made pot goulash. Did i do something wrong, or is it supposed to taste that way?

  • i can do it better

  • look so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • excellent video!. thank you.

  • i think u just made curry whith tikass thats kinda dum get a life stuffin your self whith curry and tikass

  • @amzish123

That's not even funny. Stop trying to get a thumbs up for your corny jokes.

  • Lol. Imagin this guys voice over made it into t.v..I'll watch it to fall sleep quicker

  • Liked the way he sliced the onion, think I'll try doing that. Not too sure about leaving a wooden spoon in the pan while it simmers, though.

  • this shit is good!! i havent done at home, i just eat in a Indian restaurante

  • im indian and this is bullshit

  • @TheJethrotull32 you're not indian...btw he said at the end....this is how you cook masala the JUG way.....so stop crying and finish eating ya food!

  • Comment removed

  • very nice but how it taste?

  • @sokena well a video won't tell ya right? Go cook it and taste by yourself.

  • has anyone actually tried this? i was under the impression you had to make a tikka marinade for the chicken first

  • 1 lula meat and tatay

  • how about cashew paste in it?

  • The kabob method in the oven is so much better. This tikka masala version is easier and takes way less time though. Mmmmmmm Im hungry now. Thanks for the vid!!

  • you should have stir fried the chicken pieces first in the hot coconut oil, this method may caused stomach pain- from salmonella poisoning

  • @Gluluman not if cooked properly all the salmonella bacteria would be killed off. with the heat

  • isnt it better to make the tikka first? i dont agree with this recipe in that aspect.. like when you made butter chicken u grilled the chicken first. it will taste a lot better if you grill the chicken then cut to bite sized pieces and the rest is the same as you did.

  • what about penis and masala

  • the sauce? what sauce is he talking about? aren't you supposed to use yogurt only?

  • I'm so sorry, I fell asleep by the time we got to the tomato - lovely voice over.

  • @AlisoninBrittany yeah lol. try gordon ramsay's version, watch it and u can skip ur coffee tmr in the morning

  • @AlisoninBrittany reminds me of school, old mock test tapes

  • @superamerica1981 It's not English, It's an Indian thing...

  • Sorry, but you lost me at the olive oil. If you want a strongly flavoured oil for this, recommend mustard oil!

  • ok? who really wants to know how to make chicken tikka masala whatever that means i mean seriously have you ever not heard of a thing called GOOGLE?!?! instead of wasting your time putting on stupid videos like this you should be putting on cool videos not videos of how to cook stuff!!!

  • @kekekat212 - Whats your problem, miserable git.

  • And WHO THE HELL CARES about where the word "Masala" originated. Unfortunate to see that when there are bigger and worse problems to worry about... you, the guy who claims to "think"... are worried about Masala. Next time, before you go and say something you have no idea about, look it up... GOOGLE....the world at your finger tips!

  • @ismaJamil anywayfm where r u?nd where u living?

  • Open you eyes and ur mind to whats real. Stop being arrogant. Terrorism is a horrible thing... blame the person who terrorizes, not their entire race! Like I said.... read a freakin book! "Porkistan" is not a country .... its not anywhere on the world map. If you have something to say, man up, and say it like an Adult. Apparently all you can do is Hate. I promise you, if you try to have an open mind about things and try to learn what the actual truth is, your life and would be a lot easier.

  • @ ThinkingGuy100: Listen up, if you know how to... YOU ARE ARROGANT! How about you open up a Quran, learn what It says... "Think" about it and then talk. You are so brainwashed by the media that you can't "think" for urself! Its sad, very sad! Yes, there are some Muslims who terrorize and do bad things in the name of Islam, but they are not considered muslims...because Islam does not teach that! Just like there are people of other religion/beliefs that do horrible things... EDUCATE urself!

  • @ismaJamil hi u don;t need to listn ths ppl ok chairup guys i;m muslim too

  • saadihinaa you should not responce to this THINKINGGUY just ignore him ....... people like him are not worth paying any attention

  • @PREDATOR925 says a PREDATOR. You should stop commenting if you practice what you preach

  • Masala is hindi word. Porki muslim terrorists are always ready to take all indian culture and dedicate it to their masters in middle east. Porkis = self hating bastards

  • this recipe or the word "masala" is not native to india.

It is native to pakistan and other middle eastern countries too. :)

  • @SaadiHina lol porkistani comes here. porkistan is 60 year old illigal country that exists on indian land. porkistan was created by muslim fascists.

  • @ThinkingGuy100

i love how ur screen name clashes ith your personality btw im nt tht low to bag on a whole religion/culture/country because of insignificant opinions :) thankyou for your reply and your hate:) ill be sure to do an extra good deed today to cover this up. bless you :) have a nice day :)

  • @SaadiHina lolz typical loser from porkistan. Lying and killing is requirement of you muslim pakis. Stop corrupting good place. Go back to your cave

  • @ThinkingGuy100

funny how you say im corrupt :) just read ur messages and mine. bless you :)

  • @SaadiHina

    Retard....

    It originates from india.

  • Just made it and fell in love with it =))

  • Great recipe especially with coconutmilk =)

  • also watch out for someone called Daveyellowcard, he copies recipes and puts them up as his own, he also uploaded my videos claiming they were his, I had to threaten him with copyright infringement to get him to remove the videos so now he puts the recipes up on their own,

    cheers,

    Mick

  • I am sorry but this was not good .. the flavor of yogurt overwhelms the flavors .. just not good

  • I'm hungry now. Also, I'm not sure this is real Chicken Tikka Masala, the one I get from my local take-out is neon red and glows in the dark, apparently it's "supposed to do that".

  • @FuckSlice im not sure your supposed to eat shit that grows in the dark 0_0

  • @D34DLY5NIP3R Lol, sorry, it's a bit of an inside joke. My take-away has this chicken tikka that tastes really nice and is really good quality but they do something to it that makes it a really, really bright red. I think it's the spices or some kind of colouring they add but I found it funny because it's such a bright red that I made the quip that "if it were any brighter it would glow!"

Sorry for not being clear the first time around and hope this clears things up the second time.

  • @FuckSlice i was joking btw..

  • now thats a knife.

  • 3 chickenbreast for 4 people?! I eat 4 by myself atleast

  • he sounds like Charles Widmoore!

  • i tried this recipe and it was great!!! just a little too spicy. next time i'll remember not to add as much. but thanks for uploading!!!

  • @roxy42lover Lol, it doesn't look spicy enough :D

  • @Celeb132 yeah but i put too much spice in it...lol

  • Can i replace the chicken with badgers spleen ?

  • @fergawdsache yes

  • minced lmao classic posh twat does not even know takeaway is invented

  • @InsaneBreakdown takeaways are for fat/lazy people

  • It' tomato! lol

  • whoever made this video is wierd

  • Where do you buy one and a half onions? Everywhere I go they are whole onions! I asked the guy in the store and he said "we dont sell half onions"

  • @coltsuperocean10

Are you joking or are you serious?

Why don't you go get a knife and CHOP THE ONION IN HALF.

  • IP3aceMak, ??? Are you really that stupid? It was a joke you retard!! Some people....

  • @coltsuperocean10 You cut the other onion in half your self, genius.

  • Pro902, see above comment. It was a joke. Tell your face!!

  • next time ask for two quarters of an onion instead

  • gazoopi, thats were Ive been going wrong! lol

  • lol you cut it in half

  • @coltsuperocean10 You just buy the onion and cut it in half!

  • @coltsuperocean10 You just buy the onion and cut it in half!!!

  • @coltsuperocean10 you're a fucking moron, kill yourself.

  • @fuckenaguru hahaha. and you have a humour bypass, it was a joke you stupid retard!! How dumb are you?

  • @coltsuperocean10

well what about people that only want to buy half onions, where do we get it?

  • this seemed more like a curry, from my experience tikka doesn't usually have a sauce. and what hugobossdb said down there is gold - better to follow those directions than the one in the video i believe.

regardless, the food in the video looks yummy :)

  • @chowtime91 its because it is a curry chicken tikka doesnt have a sauce but chicken tikka masala does.

  • damn so much fighting in the commments section, koren, taiwanese, british, indian and the origin is its an bangladeshi chef making the chickin tikka masala, naming it indian as pakistan and bangladesh was part of india once. i study business and the industry of indian curry or takeaway is ran by 90% of the bangladeshi people. loll if only back then blangladesh was not part of india it would have been named bangladeshi chickin tikka masala. safeee G

  • if this is not tikka masala, what is?

  • This is not an chicken tikka masala at all . plz dnt misguide ppl , they will be eating something else but surel not a tikka masala

  • i want 2 kill u

    your voice sucks

  • I had this last weekend and it was soooo good... now im going to make it my self.

  • keep cinomon stick in

  • lol at the posh, "old school" bbc style voice over

  • eeeeeeeeeerrrrrr stop saying eeeeerrrrrrrrrm

  • errrrrrrrrrrm and where is the fucking rice?!!!!!!?!!!

  • errrrrrrrrrrrrm i thought you had to let it marinade it first, basically youve just made a quick curry, let the chicken soak in the sauce first :)

  • Indian food does not make u fat; it just gives u a pregnant looking bellly.

  • there is no actual specific recipie of chicken tikka, most recepies have alot of diferences. A study has shown that out of all the different recepies, the only thing that is the same is chicken. There is no specific spice, sauce or seasoning to make a tikka

  • no no no no no no

  • i prefer chicken tarka ,its like chicken tikka just slighty otter

  • Looks delicious, but why when I get mine from the local indian take away is it quite red in colour? Would it taste much different to this recipe

  • They use red dye.

  • The face @ 3.44 is gold

  • This is the #1 dish in Britain. It was originally created by an Indian chef working in Britain.

  • wow! Thanks so much for posting this!! You're awesome!!! I'm gonna cook this tonight! :) looks soooooooooo good!

  • This is my fav Taiwanese dish

  • YUM-OH! :DD

  • ok, people. The video description says that it's a 'traditional and very popular indian chicken dish'. So it is indian, and not british.

  • it's actually english lol..

  • Scottish actually, it's from Glasgow.

  • Oh my mistake.

  • Looks delicious, nice

  • to shut u all up why dont u just look it up on wikipedia. its an indian dish that britian since its wide popularity had proclaimed it to be its national dish. so stfu stupid asses learn to be smart and look it up. its something called google fawk tards.

  • yes yes yes very good keep learning

  • it's indian food you fucking dumbass

  • yh it is indian but tikka masala was made in britian

  • Lol, well the only reason it was made in Britain is BECAUSE they took over India for like 400 years and stole all of our god damn recipies. That's the only reason lol, it is NOT a British dish. It's Indian.

  • everything you said was correct made in britian but indian

  • why are you calling him that he is just trying to teach ppl our dish (means my country)

  • Oh, I know huh? Tis awesome. ;3

  • wow u all r so stupid the only ppl who can make chiken tikka masala the best is us indians and pakistanis and btw u americans say it pretty weird and funny

  • The origins of chicken tikka masala are disputed. A widely reported explanation of the origins of the dish is that it was conceived in a British Bangladeshi restaurant in Glasgow when a customer, who found the traditional chicken tikka too dry, asked for some gravy. The chef improvised a sauce from tomato soup, yogurt and spices. It is generally accepted as an attempt to create an Indian dish that would appeal to the British palate.

  • LOL TOMAHHHTO!

  • how many servings is this

  • i think i heard 4 in the beginning

  • it says four at the beggining but i tend to double all recipes in books or tv anyway

  • There's no way four Finnish men get a meal out of that...

  • eat it with rice. it tastes much better

  • It's pronounced "Toe-may-toe", not "Toh-mah-toh"

  • Toe-may-toe, Toh-mah-toh

    Poh-tay-toe, Poe-tah-toe.

It doesn't really matter how you pronounce it.

Just what ever tickles your fancy.
