  • Traditional peoples have accumulated vast amounts of ecological knowledge in their long history of managing the environment - knowledge that could be beneficial for nature conservation and sustainable use of natural resources world-wide. Hence, it's just right to respect indigenous and traditional peoples' human and development rights, and recognizes the importance of the conservation of their cultures. • Finally, someone uploaded something socially relevant. Kudos to Rino [director], Jerlyn [narrator], and sino nga ba editor nito? Si Fern? Lol. In present times, we are neglecting our indigenous communities and the important contributions they give. Little did we know that these people plays a vital role in maintaining many of the earth's most fragile ecosystems. Discounting them means putting biodiversity at risk and degrading the quality of the world's environment.
