This song hits close to home for me. My cousin Sunni past away in 2007 at the age of 30, leaving behind her husband of 12 years, an 11 year old daughter, a 9 year old son and a 7 year old son. She died two days before her youngest son's 8th birthday. I miss her. Also my cousin Oceana past away 19 years ago at the age of three. She would have been 21 had she still been alive. I also miss her with all my heart. The thing that gets me thru the days is I know that they are watching over me.

Everytime I hear this song I can't help but cry, both tears of joy and sorrow. We got the phone call that my Great Grandpa passed away on the day of my 16th birthday. I cry over the loss of him, but also b/c of the memories I have of him. To this day I still have a hard time getting through my birthday without locking myself away and putting this song on repeat for a few hours and crying over all the good times we shared

My cousin introduced this song to me just last week when we lost my grandma! We were putting together a CD of music together to play at her wake. The minute I listened to it I fell in love with it. It spoke to me in a way that the other music we picked hadn't. I miss her so much it hurts!! She was my best friend and life is not the same without her! Today is my birthday and it's so hard to be happy about it without her with me to celebrate!

i love this song. i cry every time i hear it. it one of me favorite songs. it reminds me of my gandpa. he razed me,he was the only dad i had.he will ways be my dad. i miss him do much! he died march 15,2009 rip daddy. he missed the birth of my 1 month old son and wont be there to give me way at my wedding, every little girls dream.

This song reminds me of my Grandpas and Uncle who i lost. My grandpa S. died close to his 76 birthday in 2007, in 2008 my Grandpa V. and Uncle Scott died, my grandpa died of a blood disease i think and my Uncle was in a horriable Motorcycle accident, he was going to see his son graduate in Arizona. I miss them all so much everyday! T-T but i know they are watching over me :D.

My grandma lived to see me turn almost 24. She passed on December 29th, 2006.

She herself lived be 73 years old. She died of some form of cancer. I remember very vividly how she loved watching wrestling (WWE), and I guess I can blame her for me liking wrestling as well. My grandma may have been small in stature, only 5'2 inches tall, and weight, less then 100 pounds, but she was big in terms of influence, and character. She could make someone laugh with ease. I hope she's making Jesus laugh.

I just wanted you to know that there are people that are goin thru the same thing and I liked your post to comment because it reminded me there are indeed others going thru the same thing as me and no matter how old it doesnt get any easier :(

@bonnieisahottie its not stupid to cry over the death of a loved one. Thats part of missing them. Just know that If they believed in jesus, they were taken to a much better place. No pain. Tears of love, never sorrow. God bless you
