It was Karisma mom Babita's fault Karisma and Abhishek had been seeing each other for 7 yrs during Karisma's DTPH days! But at the time Abhi was a struggling actor and Babita didnt want her daughter to marry someone who wasnt as successful as Karisma!

@Angel199 look this wasnt babita's fault at all- the only thing she asked of abhi was that he live seperate with karishma in his own house as opposed to with the parents she wanted her daughter to be a progressive woman of the 21st century and didnt want lolo living under jaya's thumb like aishwarya is now!! I dont see anything wrong in babita asking for her daughter rights but finally it was bachchans who broke it off kapoors kept face and didnt mention it to media
