nepotism rules the world. it is everywhere. in the workplace, in the education system, and everywhere else. for us common mortals there is no escape, unless we lick their arse, "seduce" or marry some of them, we are stuck. I have seen this happening before my eyes many times. it is a social disgrace.
what is worse is, that you are being sold (at a high price) the illusion that if you work hard, your efforts will be acknoledged. but the results of hard work never come. .
I hate nepotism. It is a disgusting phenomenon. In the country I live, if you don't have connections, things are really tuff. Even for the most stupid job you need to have a relative or some other sort of connection in the company. You often need connection just to go at the interview! I belong to a minority group in the country I live, and believe me I have suffered from the consequences of nepotism and connections.
