@topherbigspliff you've obviously never had a half-decent monitor apart.I'm actually a computer tech and fix these things alot. there are electronic circuit boards and wiring and sutff, and the LCD is almost ten layers of plastic and glass and most are totally encased in steel and screwed together inside the plastic so even if you hit it with a hammer it wouldn't break through the screen.do some research before you think you know everything.
