I think they had a ride like this in Alton Towers theme park, Staffordshire, England, it's not been there for decades - I think judging by this it must have been deemed unsafe.

I remember that. It was a bit different though. It was a concrete curved track down a hill and you went down it in a weird little car that looked a bit like a mini go-cart.

If you ask me the old Alton Towers ride was a bit mad really...at least in the video the thing they were in was on tracks!
