@simplelife88393 new vegas was much more polished IMO, if 3 had the improvements in game mechanics NV did it would be a contender. But NV also brings much more original FO lore back from 1 & 2, FO:3 kinda just peed on the lore.

That was far more intrusive then anything i ever encountered in NV

@sk8er4ever0101 the difference is that by the time the GOTY edition of FO3 came out all problems were culled, and up until they stopped releasing patches and fixing NV it is still a buggy mess

@utubeaccount00 Well MY experience has proven to me fallout 3 was FAR more buggy, I have not crashed in new vegas yet and only encountered the SAME old glitches from fallout 3 and even oblivion in FO:NV.

I'm sorry your game was so buggy that it made you consider it a "bad game" if i let the same thing happen to me i would of never played fallout 3. But "bugs" can't distract from a great game unless seriously gamebreaking. Even moreso then FO:3 launch problems.

I think that Fallout 3 is better. Fallout: New Vegas may appeal to the more original Fallout and Fallout 2 fans, but the first person view makes the whole "doom and gloom" setting feel real, which NV lacks, since most of the Nevada area is doing great (D.C. is in hell). The graphics and sounds of NV are better than Fallout 3. The weapon extensions are a joke, but ADS is great in NV. Also, the add ons for Fallout 3 are much better than ones for NV. In Fallout 3 the characters had personality too.

@hatmonkey Literally EVERYTHING in the Fallout universe is driven by nuclear power. You know those six-pound 'fission batteries' you often find lying around? Those are tiny nuclear reactors.

supposedly the B-51 power armor or whatever its called, has a nuclear detonater on it so that the chinese couldnt aquire it. But idk about that.
