  • Im from uruagya next to Brazil, this is a nice song but this video sucks.

The rythm its awsome bt the meaning its too poor.

Brazil is not as violent as they show on this video, i know thay this things only happens in the "FAVELAS" poor neigborhoods on the "MORROS" small city mountains, thers a lot of droug dealers an guns, and its difficult to acces byy the PM or MP military police o "policia militar". Mis amigos brazileros un saludo desde uruguay LEMBREN MARACANA NO ANHO 1950 JEJEJEJE

  • such a nice melody, but such violent lyrics and video...

  • I'm also looking for a translation for this song..

  • thank You very much jennicss!

just the last question: d'you have an idea why the slang word for "policeman" is "aleman", or something like that?

i'm a linguist and i'm always interested in such stories of words..

    thanx

    Stefano

  • They call "Alemão" (german) I may be wrong but i guess this is still because of the world war II

Police here are nearly as radical as german soldiers used to be, just my opinion

And i dont think they are :)

  • Oh I see, I also imagined that this slang-form could have such an explanation..

    thank You again,

    S

  • well, they also use the word "Alemão" as slang when talking about white people in general...probably translates to anyone in a position of "power" or privilege.

  • oh I see. thank You.

but do you think that "Alemão" just belongs to the slang of the favelas? that is, you don't hear people from other quarters say this word?

    ciao

    S

  • well, I've been called this by a Baiano and a Paulista. i don't think either person was from a favela, though i can't say for sure.

on both occasions i didn't feel the word was used in a threatening way, but it was definitely used because i was white (and still am...). and i'm american just to clarify, so that's why the alemao thing strikes me as funny.

  • Alemão is a popular gun used by gangs made by germans. that why the lyrics are "nos con Alemão vamos se dirvetre" that means "us with the german(guns) are going to have fun brazil e o mehlor!

  • could someone make an english translation of the lyrics plz?

  • The only thing I know about the song that its about shooting...with a gun, and the parararara means the sound of the shooting.

  • e uma bostaaaaaaa

  • Bom video !!!!
