@ggocco Grosso was looking for the penalty, no doubt about that, but I agree, by the rules, it is a penalty, and the referee had no choice. Great world cup, and great team play by the Italians, no one of their players had more than two goals. Only two teams were able to even draw them (USA and France), and they were the only two to score against them, via an own goal and a dubious penalty.

That being said, I can't pretend I didn't enjoy watching Italy go out in the group stage in 2010...

Yes Grosso dived and it wasn't a penalty. But France dived also for the penalty in the final and also for the winner freekick against spain. That doesn't excuse Italy, but french deserve less than italy after all.
