I learned to fly on a tower trainer .40. Best darn trainer I EVER flew. I bought a second one just like it after I snapped the wings in a steep dive. That was over three years ago. I STILL have my tower trainer with over 200 flights on it. BTW, I paused the video to see the damage and that is a very EASY fix. Hope you were up and running again.
Looks like the little man needs a better flying field with lots of room for flying, and yes... they all need a course in battery charging and checking before flight... Good flying though...
@boulderdsvo That's funny. The little electrics are beautiful for beginners. Just so you know, a lot of "us" start with electrics for they are more reliable.
Do not approach to the propeller from front you can hurt yourself.

not a very good example to give to a youngster.
why are you standing RIGHT in line with the prop after start up?
are you tired of living?

Paint some yellow or day glow orange on your prop tips! Those black propellers can do some serious damage to fingers and hands.. I have the scars!

lets fly next to the power lines and some giant poles
ptmstang95 6 months ago
That's too bad. If the field had been larger and no power lines it probably would have landed itself.

Why is your first flight with a big gas-powered rc plane? try a simulator first and than buy a easy plane like a WILD HAWK of a Easy Star....

@breinbproducts A lot of us started with 40-sized trainers. They handle MUCH better than the little electrics.
