What I life from both the SG 550 and the P 220 is their accuracy and recoil. Curiously, their recoil animation is pretty similar, notice that the front sight always stay on target while shooting. No overacted muzzle climb.

Also, about the GLG 40, it's pretty much the same as the M203, it only differs on the mount, ladder sights and tube handguard. If we are going further with the unrealisms in STALKER, the AG 36 is the grenade laucher that would fit on the G36 and the L85.

@Nhordmyr I know where the misunderstanding came from. I described "SIG/Sauer" as "Swiss-German" since SIG is Swiss and Sauer is German. This video was made on my old machine, hence the lag. My new rig rocks hard.

@germankernelpanik The downsides to the G36, as it appears in this game, is that it wears down too fast (way faster than the SG550) and you can only use the scope, not the reflex sight (it has both but you can only use one).

I actually prefer the original Blo0d but I did play Blo0d 2: The Chosen. It just didn't have the same vibe as the original.

FunFact: The sawed-off in the Blo0d games is a lot like the sawed-off in the STALKER games. The one in Shadow of Chernobyl is the best side-by-side shotgun I've ever seen in an FPS game. It's a "rabbit ear" sidelock trimmed down to its most compact dimensions. "Rabbit ears," in shotgun terms, are exposed hammers on a double-barrel.

The G36 isn't really meant to use an M-203, but it does accept an AG36. But since there's no AG36 in STALKER, the M-203 is the next best thing.

At this juncture, I can't quite remember specifically. I'm pretty sure there's one in the Electro tunnel in Agroprom Underground but you need Batteries on your belt to protect you from those Electros. If you wear Four or more Batteries on your belt, those Electros will heal you AND "recharge" your armor if you're playing unmodded Shadow of Chernobyl.

With Fraps recording, it'll lag regardless of settings. Plus, this game lags in certain spots all the time unless you have a super suped up system. I'm not that wealthy to be able to afford to supe up my machine to the ultimate standard at this juncture. As for medium settings, I'd like it to0 lo0k decent (which medium settings do) as well as play decent.

At 3:57 you say that the Burner battery recharges your armor when standing in fire. What do you mean by that? Not the suit? Because my suit is at about 10 % and it doesn't change at all when standing in a fire. I've got three Fire batteries in the slots.

Is it perhaps a mod you're using?

Burner batteries (actually called Shells) will recharge your suit if you stand in a Burner or any kind of fire, but only if you have at least four of them on your belt (five makes it go quicker). This doesn't work in Oblivion Lost. I know it worked in unmodded v1.0005. Standard Batteries do the same if you stand in an Electro. Other 30% artifacts do the same with corresponding protection values. It heals both your health and your armor.

Gauss has best stopping power and best accuracy, but is intended for sniping at long range. It's not ideal for close-range combat and there's a lot of that in the CNPP. I like the Groza/Thunder for tearing up Monolithians at close range.

I agree about the iron sights, the SG550's iron sights are excellent. The LR300's sights are pretty good, too.

The sights on the LR-300 were fixed in Oblivion Lost. They redid the weapon model. Not only are the sights correct (you actually aim through the peep instead of over it), but the ejection port is on the right side of the receiver! Unfortunately, they undid their efforts by making the LR-300 weaker than the other NATO rifles. It does roughly half the damage of other rifles of the same caliber for no logical reason.

Fully equipped. There are only two of the scoped ones, both carried by Freedomers. Since you joined Duty, it makes sense that you'd find them. Since I'm a loner/double-agent, I don't want to harm the Freedomers or the Dutyers, so I stick with the basic model (which is infinitely available from Skinflint for 13,000 RU each). In v1.0, you could earn an unlimited supply of SG-550s, M-203s, 40mm HEDPs, and 5.56 AP from Lukash for doing the blo0dsucker extermination mission in the do0m village. XD
