  • And you played that tape for about 50 time and it was gone from wear an tear.Those were just crap.Open one tape holder and you will see what I mean. It`s a continuous loop and the friction from the center destroy the tape after a while just from regular playing. Also those were notorious in the flutter department cause of the poor mechanical holding. Just touching the tape while it was playing and you could ear volume and speed change. I still have a player/recorder laying around somewhere. LOL

    So what? I love these tapes. I've got about 50 or 60 of them. RCA tapes are the ones that are the most durable. I've got about 20 more in a separate box that have broken over the years. I get these at thrift stores for about 30 cents a piece.

    I'm going to go there and buy the whole bin of them next time I go to that particular store. It's been there ever since I've been going there 5 years ago. So, I'll make them a deal to buy the whole bin and all the tapes inside. lol
