When you say that you dont want your children to be taught that gay or lesbian marriage is ok. Think about this, the gay parents or gay children are being taught that it is not natural to be gay or that gay marriage is un-holy. If Marriage is a religious function why should the state (Any Government) be the one to decide what it is or isnt? I would urge all gay rights activates to be fair in this and instead of forcing a definition to be accepted by all that they strive and remove any definition. RE the "activist judges" well even though the governor appoints them "The appointments are confirmed by the public at the next general election" so I guess we, the majority of the public had no problem with the judges when we voted for them. Also these judges have a specific purpose which is to ABOVE ALL maintain uniformity of the law, but they saw conflict with prop 22 as an "infringement of rights" (hmm where have I heard that before) of the CA state constitution.
RE god, well our country was founded on freedom of religion. In other words no one religion making laws about the other, and may I remind you that under the FEDERAL constitution (the one that applies to all of us) under 5th amendment "No person shall be ... deprived of life, LIBERTY, or property, without due process of law" and furthermore under 14th amendment "nor shall any State deprive any person of life, LIBERTY or property, without due process of law ..."
RE civil rights. Again you quote the CA code well, however, again you are mistaken. In our government there's a distinction between state law and federal law. while under state law they are no differences in no part of the federal constitution does it grant same sex couples the same rights. Meaning if at any point they leave CA they will not have the protection of state laws, and also RE laws that are solely regulated by federal law i.e. immigration laws, there is no equality of rights.

If Marriage is a religious function why should the state (Any Government) be the one to decide what it is or isnt? I would urge all gay rights activates to be fair in this and instead of forcing a definition to be accepted by all that they strive and remove any definition. As that is a cause both would benefit from. The state, the schools, and any public organization or office has no right to impose a definition on anyone.

RE the "activist judges" well even though the governor appoints them "The appointments are confirmed by the public at the next general election" so I guess we, the majority of the public had no problem with the judges when we voted for them. Also these judges have a specific purpose which is to ABOVE ALL maintain uniformity of the law, but they saw conflict with prop 22 as an "infringement of rights" (hmm where have I heard that before) of the CA state constitution.

RE civil rights. Again you quote the CA code well, however, again you are mistaken. In our government there's a distinction between state law and federal law. while under state law they are no differences in no part of the federal constitution does it grant same sex couples the same rights. Meaning if at any point they leave CA they will not have the protection of state laws, and also RE laws that are solely regulated by federal law i.e. immigration laws, there is no equality of rights.
