Thanks Avri. I know all this. Actually, my comment was just a provocation: what to answer if somebody asks you a question like that. I have listened to Eckhart Tolle recently and find him more enlightning than Gangaji. She is a bit too abstract and non-specific in what she says.
I agree, she can not be followed, but I guess that's the problem but also a way to find the solution directly. She doesn't want to be followed, I think that is her way of making you self realized. I am more found of the direct path, with direct questions to the self. Like Ramana Maharshi did or Tony Parson does. There are so many different "teachers" and ways but I guess for everyone there is someone special to get the knowledge of that there is no-knowledge but the self, isness, etc. etc.
The mind believes it must be so, because the mind wants to believe that God is only Good but you are just getting once again into the trap of duality, that you should have powers. But the truth of the matter is you already have them. Because when there is no individual when you are truly realized, you see that everything and everyone is you. The you without mind. The pure self. I would advise you to ask your self, the questions you want to know. With the trust and awareness you already are.

What Gangaji teaches is nearer to what Jesus taught than the Christian churches who twist his message. I find it amazing that many so feel threatened by the "idea" that if you STOP, even for a moment, "you" will cease to exist and become a "mindless" nothing. Well, I feel that the truth is is that our mind is keeping us from experiencing our true self and we need to stop, as scary as that may seem, to allow our "self" to come out of the Dualist world of good and bad (etc), and be, just be, and experience who you are - without the mind interference.

I have heard that Gangaji (and master Papaji) likely tasted falling away, but fell back into Oneness, and often speak from that "taste" of nirvana rather than from the continued unwavering experience of That. And that most advaita teachers these days are in a similar situation. And that enlighenment, with zero wavering back into Oneness, is still extremely rare. Any comments? And yes, I do realise it is highly subjective.

Thanks Avri. I know all this. Actually, my comment was just a provocation: what to answer if somebody asks you a question like that. I have listened to Eckhart Tolle recently and find him more enlightning than Gangaji. She is a bit too abstract and non-specific in what she says.

I agree, she can not be followed, but I guess that's the problem but also a way to find the solution directly. She doesn't want to be followed, I think that is her way of making you self realized. I am more found of the direct path, with direct questions to the self. Like Ramana Maharshi did or Tony Parson does. There are so many different "teachers" and ways but I guess for everyone there is someone special to get the knowledge of that there is no-knowledge but the self, isness, etc. etc.

But the truth of the matter is you already have them. Because when there is no individual when you are truly realized, you see that everything and everyone is you. The you without mind. What she is saying is not obvious as most people, including yourself, confuse extraordinary mind states with liberation. 2.Every human being says "I am" when referring to him/herself. "I am" is pure existence/being/awareness. What Gangaji teaches is nearer to what Jesus taught than the Christian churches who twist his message. I went to church for 25 years and NEVER heard and priest tell me "the kingdom of Heaven is within you". They always looked up at the ceiling when they talked about God and Heaven. But there was only a ceiling up there.
