It is when it happened to a little old lady, I called employee to task in front of 15 others in line and behind windows. When I told her it wasn't healthy she admitted had family issues and realized her self what she said. Since then has smile & funny.
I live in this hood, and it's hard to say who is worse the Midwood Post Office, Church Ave or this here Kensington location. It's like they're having a contest to make you crazy. It's so demoralizing, the whole affair. Broken postal systems makes me sad.

The three clerks who are sitting there watching the other one are assigned to mail distribution, and when they finish the mail, they aren't allowed to go to the window, because they are not assigned to window duty. Sounds ass-backwards? Welcome to the wonderful world of upper postal management.

This is honestly the worst post office in the world. This doesn't go for all post offices, we know most of you work hard. But this guy is 100% justified. I feel like this every time I go in there.
I do not believe that this can be found in a lot of post offices across this great country. Most clerks provide courteous service and make an effort to help the customer. As a window clerk , we are required to ask questions and offer additional services. I am proud to work for the USPS and really enjoy the interaction with 99 .9 percent of our customers. This guy is a loon !

I have done a quiet procedure, contacted a friend of mine who works for the federal government and had him find every employee in the office. got the managers and supervisors name came up to the window told them i need to speak to this and this told them that is they want to have there jobs they should fire someone

Today for the 5th time in a row I received my photo order from Snapfish creased. The envelopes look like they have been run over by the mail truck or thrown off a mountain ledge. I had one order shipped FedEx and I received it in perfect condition. As of today I will be paying $5.99 instead of .99 cents for shipping FedEx knowing my treasured memories will be arriving in good shape.

@lanceshitheadnada this really is the most ridiculous post office i have ever been in. i am always polite to people as a customer (having worked in retail for years) and I can attest that even just asking for my package with a smile was met with absolute disregard. I was yelled at. For asking for my mail. Something isn't right here.
The problem is with the labor unions they are greedy. NALC and the American Postal workers union need to go. How can two pieces of mail go out the same day and a Media mail make it in 4 days but a first class piece of mail take a week. The media mail was mailed from Wyoming and First class mail was mailed from the Fed Ex plant. Lazy postal workers.
The Post Office where I live has pissed me off a lot too, but this is not the way to get what you want.

I have done a quiet procedure, contacted a friend of mine who works for the federal government and had him find every employee in the office. got the managers and supervisors name came up to the window told them i need to speak to this and this told them that is they want to have there jobs they should fire someone

I just read an article that came out on Dec 18th where they vote this Kensington post office the worst in NY.... the article is called "Bad Post Office, Good Post Office", unreal.

Always have 10-15 windows but only 2-3 people working them!!! I would be curious to find out the ethnicity of that staff, just curious?>! Customer service is routinely atrocious at the Post Office...stupid idiot videoing this should have atleast shown the "bitch" behind the window.

Today for the 5th time in a row I received my photo order from Snapfish creased. The envelopes look like they have been run over by the mail truck or thrown off a mountain ledge. I had one order shipped FedEx and I received it in perfect condition. As of today I will be paying $5.99 instead of .99 cents for shipping FedEx knowing my treasured memories will be arriving in good shape.

@lanceshitheadnada this really is the most ridiculous post office i have ever been in. i am always polite to people as a customer (having worked in retail for years) and I can attest that even just asking for my package with a smile was met with absolute disregard. I was yelled at. For asking for my mail. Something isn't right here.

The problem is with the labor unions they are greedy. NALC and the American Postal workers union need to go. How can two pieces of mail go out the same day and a Media mail make it in 4 days but a first class piece of mail take a week. The media mail was mailed from Wyoming and First class mail was mailed from the Fed Ex plant. Lazy postal workers.
