  • Kony 2012

  • Classic... Nice live drum track, as opposed to a mechanical drum track.

  • Thumbs up if the 80s brought you here

  • THE BREAKFAST CLUB

  • 80s are the best! this is one of my favorite songs :))

  • stop talking about PHILLIP J. FRY. and continue the legacy of the 80'S INTO THE FUTURE. TOMMORROW PEOPLE WHERE IS your past?

  • Lol, the guitarist is related to me apparently... Rest in piece Phillip J. fry (named for his uncle to carry on his spirit)

  • 12, 13, 14...etc you can't put an age on music. With that being said, you clearly cannot put a time limit on music, this song will forever change generations

  • They're at latitude! Thats definately made me get a ticket!

  • the advert is here wtf , stupid frames , i think intelligent people understand what's worth

  • is this a song of the 80s?

  • @Gator115 yeah!

  • @Gator115 LOL. YOu're joking, right? ONe of the greatest Pop songs of the 80s, it is.

  • 35 people dislikes this music. So I ask... Then why did you come here?

  • This song is most wanted on the bill boards for a start to a classic for real

  • Thumbs up if Futurama brought you here.

  • @Beatle911 IT DOSENT WORK LIKE THAT SON

  • God i fucking love this song everytime i hear it i just wanna pull my hair out cause i love it so much.

  • Was this song specially made for "The Breakfast Club"? because they have some scenes from the movie in here.

  • why so few views ? o:

  • why do people keep on complaining of modern day music, yh quite a lot of it is shit like lady gaga and justin bieber, but if you actually look for music instead of looking at charts you can find good music. It's not difficult.

  • slade- run away 1984

  • Nice tune!!!

  • Fuck yeah the 80's :)

  • Psych brought me here!!

  • Philip J. Fry ll :( that scene makes me cry

  • STOP, look, it's the 80's NOW in 2012 youtube

  • This song kicks more ass then music now a days.

  • not the biggest fan of 80's mainstream music (underground stuff was great though) but I love this song, especially the intro, keeps getting better everytime I listen to it. this song defines an era and generation in my opinion, even though I wasn't around back then. from what i know about the 80s, and what my family has told me, this is song is the iconic 80s song, along with Hungry Like the Wolf

  • @procrastinator300 wiretrain- i'll do you 1984

    tears for fears change 1983

the mighty lemon drops -inside out 1988

  • awesome

  • don't you forget something, won't you forget about today , tell me about the trashy current music, think of the great songs that we enjoyed, particularly the eighties.- S I M P L E

  • @topshoptights the mainstream music of the 80s was pretty trashy too in my opinion, with all the fake drum beats and stuff. this is one of the few great mainstream songs of the 80s. (plenty of good underground stuff though punk rock of the 80s was great.) there were hints in the 70s, but the 80s was in my opinion the beginning of the "cheap and fake" era that has continued through the 90s, 00s, and into today and has gotten worse over time. its not just in music by the way, it's in everything

  • @procrastinator300 world party- all come true 1986 the damned - alone again or 1987

  • @topshoptights the damned is a punk band. when I said iconic 80s song, I meant mainstream music. yeah the underground stuff of the 80s was a lot better, even though the damned wasn't really underground, but they're not mainstream

  • @procrastinator300 RIDE - vapour trail 1991

    wild swans- young manhood 1987

  • @procrastinator300 wire " ahead" 1987

  • 1:58 Breakfast Club! I'd recognise that movie in a heartbeat~

    Man, I love 80s music

  • R.I.P. Good music. 1960-1990

  • @AnEvilLemon Amen to that. 2000-present, music has been dying a slow painful death, with the rare good song here and there.

  • I want this to be played at my funeral!

  • this song is a classic n so is the movie man i wish this era was more like the 80s n 90s

  • @TheKobe24greatest you're not the only one thinking so!

  • R.I.P Lando Griffin

  • The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear this song is the movie (The breakfast club). Classic song, classic movie, classic era!!!! 80's are the shit!!!

  • Nicki got this in her song blazin ;)

  • victorious' version is better :$

  • @rickysheridantv Bullshit! but okay if thats yur opinion :/

  • @kojakbangbang7 Just the '80s? Bull Shit. '50s - '90s were the greatest times. There are SOME good songs. But the rest are crap.

  • @kojakbangbang7 thats the reason i never watch MTV anymore

  • @kojakbangbang7 i agree with this. I was born in the 90's and i am sick of seeing reality shows on MUSIC TV. it should be called RTV now. lame.

  • THERE BEST SONG:)

  • @kojakbangbang7 mate move out of your mothers basement, find a girlfriend and stop reminiscing about the 80'. Every cunt knows that music today is about as successful as a Gary Glitter comeback. But the 80's consisted of an oil spill, a flock of seagulls and a bunch of village people who tried to fuck a bunch of guys wwwwaaaaaaayyyyyy before their time. So in summary chilll the fuck out, sign up to match.com or whatever sad cunts like you do and forget your shitty decade occured

  • @mcgee130

Are you related to Superbowl I hero Max Mcgee??

  • I'm 17 and I wish I had lived in the 80's. This century sucks so much.

  • does anyone know from what album is the song?

  • i'm 14 yeras old and i loveeeee this music!!! i think there should be more young people listening to this awesome music because today's music, if you can call it that, is awfull...

  • guys seriously lighten up, you're sitting in front of a machine only dreamed of in the 1980s, with any song, video and all, from the earliest recordings in history to last night's concerts, one click of your mice away. which renders the relative cultureless barrenness of 2012 irrelevant!!!! and who watches MTV nowadays anyway??

  • @sweetestperfection90 You make some great points. Thank you so much.As some one who was into computers back then (but only a kid), I'm well aware of what you're saying about what we have now, tech-wise. Still it's too bad that most music video channels have got to crap.

  • *gone*, I mean

  • Being born in 87 kind of sucks. I missed out on the 80's, and by the time I started to get into pop culture the 90's where nearly over. So I was left with the crap of the 00's.

  • The 80's were fantastic years. I wish that all you here could've experienced the best decade ever!

  • @rootauthority did you? cause im seriously jealous

  • @MattPwnsYouAll221

Yes! 80's were the good days :-)

  • I love the movie The Breakfast Club! Thumbs up if y'all love that movie too.

  • i don't like new wave but this song is awesome...

  • Futurama <3

  • Futurama, Family Guy and American Dad :X:X:X

  • @kojakbangbang7 i live in the 80's......IN MY MIND!!

  • Breakfast Club! ♥

  • EASY A, FUTURAMA, SAINTS ROW 2 and this great music :D

  • How bizarre! Though he didn't wear meat, we didn't forget about him... :O

  • i love jim kerr, he was such a spiritual guy, u just dont get that now, its mainly mass-produced, souless and synthesised pish - i have nothing against synthesisers but now musicians use them to make their voices sound perfect so u dont have to be a good singer anymore

  • Breakfast Club

  • Did someone in this group die

  • To honor the truth, this was the first 80's song i really got interested in, you can reason out which is my age by just looking my nickname. I first heard this on futurama, but really got interested when hearing this on the Academy Awards tribute to John Hughes. From that day to the present I keep looking for great old music, and realizing that my generation will never have this kind of music which makes me sad. Sorry if i misspelled anything, my native language isn't English.

  • This has got to be one of the best songs ever ever. makes me smile every time I hear it :):)

  • Yes this song was specifically made for "The Breakfast Club" its an amzing song and I love it this song was made when my parents were 5 x3'

  • like if your born in the 90's

  • @bains10127 You're obviously a virgin.

  • @bains10127 very very very very very late 90's

  • @sockomatic You're like 12? That's too young for youtube.

  • @Mythicalcurse yeah but im like a 14 yr old becaause i am smart and i know stuff an average 12 yr old doesnt know

  • @sockomatic Judging by that senrtence i'd disagree. Don't your parents have parental controls in place? Youtube can be dangerous for a 12 year old? Can you access all content?

  • @Mythicalcurse they dont even know what parental control is because they are from a different country so i am allowed to watch alot of things and play m games

  • @sockomatic That's pretty risky, there's stuff out there a 12 year old shouldn't be seeing. Be careful what yoy view, there's stuff on the web that might fuck you up.

  • i just wondering, but was this song made specifically for "the breakfast club"?

  • Generation X here and dam this probly my all time favorite song !! Top 5 songs

  • I even remember when MTV started in '81 and the first song was "Video Killed the Radio Star". I sense a return to straight legs, Izods, Rebok shoes, and long over coats. Let the '80's reign forever as a defining era like the 60's. I lived it, I sur
