  • Im not supprised, imagine the people from nepal coming to the UK or US and establishing a government and pushing us into wales or Texas and then building houses! WHAT ABBAS WOULD NOT SAY: No go ahead shoot my people we love bullets! they are my friend I will curl up in a ball and die. P.s Islam against the world your the biggest fagot and dickhead the world has seen :)

  • This sums up where the peace process is. Nothing going to happen any time soon as long as:

-Abbas refuses to tell the Palis that they are not going to get everything. He hasnt moved an iota in all of these years

-the Israelis still do not have a single party to negotiate with who can deliver peace and security. Still 2 factions (Hamas/Fatah) which cant control weapons

Until these 2 principal facts change, nothing will change in the region. Skip all of the "news" stories until then

  • The reason he won't say "I recognize israel as a JEWISH state"

is because 20% of Israelis aren't Jews.

it is not fair to them, that the PLO who live and operate outside Israel, decide upon the character and direction of the state.

this would also mean the end of the right of return.

it has nothing to do with the broader issue of recognizing Israel.

just more Jewish propaganda and Habsara

  • @WinkyMaeve

What crap! Is Lebanon an Islam state, what about Iran? YES, in fact, there are 57 Islamic states, which are recognized as Islamic, even though they have other religions living there.

What does it mean? That the national holidays are based on Islam. In all 57 Islamic countries, Rosh HaShana is not a day off, same with Easter!

Why should there be any right of return for Palis, when Jews had so much more stolen from them by the Arab countries where they have lived prior to Islam!

  • This Raghead MF makes me sick.

    F-Him.

  • @merrilee1111 I don't think any country should define itself based on the religion some or even all of its citizens follow. Period. Israel reminds the west frequently how modern and refined it is compared to all its neighbors, so forgive me for holding it to a higher standard.

  • @lethalranger

Israel is not a jewish equivalent of Saudi Arabia (a theocracy). Why do you insinuate that it is ?

  • @simax there are dozens of states which define themselves as muslim states. you have very good chances there to get killed by law if you tell someone that perhaps jesus is in your opinion better than allah. tell me one - only one ! western state where this can happen !

  • @lethalranger

I was born and raised in the USA and all my school holidays were based on Christian holidays, since it is a Christian country. I never complained, never bothered me, since I was living in a non-Jewish country. In Germany there is a law which prevents any stores from opening on Sunday, since church is on Sunday and there would be unfair competition to store keepers who go to church (it is a Christian country too)

German stores do not close on Saturday for Jewish Shabbat. So what?

  • @abbienetvision I still hold that no country should cater to Any one religion because, as you pointed out, it means unintentionally marginalizing the citizens who don't follow it. Also, even countries that celebrate christian holidays don't declare themselves, or worse, force their neighbors to declare them, as christian nations. as I said in my original post, I'm all in favor of Israel being a country for Jewish people, but there's no need to make it a "Jewish Nation". It's an outdated concept.

  • @lethalranger

Every country in the world caters to their main religion or the religion of the founders. Every piece of money in the USA says, "In God We Trust" , we swear to tell the truth using the bible in court, every hotel in USA has a bible

Armenia was the first nation in the World that accepted Christianity as state religion in 301 AD. Roman Empire accepted Christianity in 313 AD,&Georgia was the third country.Today there are over 100 countries which are known as Christian! Jews have one!

  • Not everyone living in Israel is Jewish. Why does it have to be a Jewish state? Why can't it just be a state where a lot of Jewish people live? If you're going to pride yourselves on being such an awesome democratic utopia amongst the middle eastern savages, a bastion of human rights right in the middle of oppressive regimes, then why not make Israel a secular nation like most other first world countries.

I just don't see why calling it a "Jewish" state has to be such a big deal.

  • @lethalranger

Why can't Japan "just be a state where a lot of japanese people live" ?

  • @lethalranger Because historically, Jews have been persecuted ever since being expelled out of THEIR state by Roman Empire. (Incidentally, yes, the same exact state that existed on the territory of modern Israel. Give or take a West bank.)

So, the Zionist argument is that even if all the Jews do not have to live in a Jewish state, there has to exist a Jewish state which would always accept Jews, in case, oh, say a country wants to burn them all (or forbids them to practice Judaism).

  • @lethalranger (cont.) Because even the US which was good for the Jews in general still turned away the boat of the Jewish refugees that left Nazi Germany. The boat would go from country to country, rejected, until it had to return to Germany, where the Jews were sent to concentration camps.

So, the idea is: there has to be a state with a Jewish identity. There is a state with French identity and one with British identity. Hell, there is even a state with American identity, whatever that means.

  • @CrawlingAxle But why can't it be an Israeli identity? I'm all in favor of Jewish people having a country in their ancestral homeland that will always accept them and serve as a place for them be welcomed in, I just don't understand why considering it a Jewish state is necessary. Judaism is not an ethnicity, I'm sorry, it just isn't. Look at the Ethiopian Jews. It's a religion. Why not just make it the Israeli nation, full of Israelis, be they Jewish (the majority), christian or muslim?

  • @lethalranger the Ethiopian Jews expelled from Israel 1900 yrs ago if you look carefully on them you'll found out that they look more like middle eastern with darker skin then African (wide nose and jaws), this was confirmed by many researches. Israel ain't theocracy Israel is a state with Jewish character. Jews need a state to prevent (another) pogrom/genocide it's not just the holocaust every once in a while pogrom attend to happen and the fact that nothing like this happened in Israel's 63..

  • @lethalranger years of existence is a prove that Israel work pretty well

  • You want something sensible?

We are the Nation of Israel and this is our home.

You either live here in peace under democratic law, or you can go back home to Jordan and try your luck there!

  • 0:05 - 0:06 - hypocrite! It's unsensible to refuse the three lings he listed! He says he's willing to negotiate, but the negotiations he wants are innegotiable for Israel, who has offered to negotiate without any preconditions - everything is laid out on the table for a discussion.

Ex: We will negotiate if the result is '67 borders.

Translation: We want indefensible borders for Israel.

Shows his intransigience. Something he has been hammering away at since he succeeded Arafat.
