well...there 24 hours chat is BS. Had to leave a message. Not sure about the milling job on these hooks guys. Maybe i got a bad one but i doubt it. I think it could be a bad sensormatic they gave me..who knows! It should be effortless..like in the video but its not. Maybe they will get back to me maybe they wont... Ill keep everyone updated. Myfingers are sore as shit from pulling and pushing on that hook. This is a pain!!

I learned the hard way so there was a sweater and shirt i got from my friends they forgot to take the security tags off and then i smash them on the floor and all the ink was everywhere it took me a long as time to wipe it off the floor got deamm.

@deannazapa Yes, because the end of the hook has a special cut, like a key which opens the mechanical device which hold the pins in. I doubt you can salvage any metal object at home identical to the hook

@deannazapa Trust me, it can only be opened with the hook shown in this video. The end of the key has been cut specifically to open these tags. You can try it with a metal rod or something, but I guarantee it will not work.

@iggyrox69 No. These types of tags can only be opened with the hook. Some tags, from other brands, can be opened with magnets, and Vini sells powerful-enough magnets on his website too. See link to shop in the description.

@Kid5693 No. Sensormatic tags don't tend to have ink. If one does have ink, however, you will be fine. The key replicates the process the sales assistant's machine will complete to open the tag.

Hello. As long as the tags are made by 'Sensormatic' - then, yes, it will open the tags. Sensormatic has the most market share of clothes protection tags worldwide - so the chances that most shops will have Sensormatic is very high.
