my father said something to me years ago that made alot of sense... the people that will make the change r not the ones who r burnouts, not drug addicts, but the ones who contribute to society and have their s#it together.. i havnt smoked in years but am still passionate about ones right to chose... rick is a perfect example of the ones who can change things in the u.s...i've been a member of normal since the 80s and will b till i die... go rick... keep spreading the truth and i will support
I love how the interviewer starts off as a typical "duuude how many hemp fests have you been to?" guy but once he finds out Steve is a responsible and well spoken person he puts on his professional voice.
Rick S is smart and brave. It is said that travel broadens the mind. Many people need to see more of this world. Some of these comments remind me of a blind man describing an elephant. The eye can not see it-self. If you want to understand america you need to live inside, and out of the country (american bases dont really count)
With his accent I never would have pegged him as a Washingtonian. I would've figured the Midwest. Is his a typical accent from WA? In any case I think he's a cool guy. Downplayed. Lo-key. Thinks outside the box. Citizen of the world. A people person, which is rare these days where so few seem to want to reach out.
drug laws infringe on our civil liberties. DO NOT blame the drugs....there are ppl who do drugs and dont go out and harm anyone. there are ppl who do. it is not the drugs that cause the problems...it is the anti-drug laws that make ppl go out and commit crimes. if you want to do drugs you should be able to. as long as you dont harm others. its the anti-drug laws that create the dealers and drug wars on our streets. dealers kill each other and innocent ppl just for the drug territories.
it is our constitutional right to put anything we want into our own bodies as long as we do not harm others. if we choose to put a substance into our bodies and do harm to someone we should be held accountable for the action...not the substance. some ppl drink alcohol and cause harm to others....some do not. dont blame the substance...measure the degree of the crime and base the punishment on that.
Rick is wonderful...and I totally agree, I just hope the bible nutters and 'church lady' mentality don't keep it from happening...on this we can agree...it is time...!
legalizing it would put so many criminal justice professionals out of a job, as well as destroy the healthy profit drug dealers earn. This is just wrong. Putting these honest hard working Americans in the poor house. Keep Cannabis profitable, keep it illegal !!!
I totally agree with Rick. Not because I am a pot smoker...because I am NOT. I think every responsible adult should be able to choose. I would hate for some one to tell me I could not have a glass of wine or beer while at home relaxing. I am a law abiding citizen, and this craziness has to stop!!! Keep fighting Rick! There are more people behind you than you realize.

If we could get religion out of almost everything that exists then this world will be run the way it should be.

Legalize it. Tax it. Regulate it. For adult use only. Let's do this already.
