Cladius I have to agree. I was part of the White Wolf Fan club, the Camarilla, in it I was on the Global Staff for the Malkavians, specifically the Anti-tribu (Sabbat). While there was a lot of flack about the "bunny Malkavians", a good sadistic Malkavian was scarier even more than a Lasombra.

Though I have to say the powers while dont make the Clan, Obtenebration was linked tightly to the Lasombra.

No offense to Clan Lasombra, but Malkavians are just as scary when you compare Obtenebration and Dementation level to level. Has anyone read Personal Scourge or Deny (lvl 8 Dementation) They are just a trippy as Dark Hunter or Oubliette (lvl 8 Obtenebration) imo.

I really don't care for off-the-wall-tv-is-talking-to-­me-I'm-a-rocking-chair Malkavians.

A friend of mine played one dressed in constant clown garb, who carried around a dead rabbit. The character would only listen to you or even really talk to you after you pet his bunny. After that, as long as he wasn't talking to a child or mentally unstable non-malkie, he was easy enough to get along with.

She played the character very well imo and I miss Sparky. T_T

The first Malkie I ever made is currently a Prince. He's losing control of himself and he knows it. His current goal is to train a young Gangrel to rule when he finally loses himself and is forced out of power by the Justicars (or some other circumstance).

Like I said, I don't care for the constantly gibbering, hallucinating types unless the player can give them purpose.
