Cut scene power to the max mate. No one is remotely as powerful in a cut scene as they are in actual gameplay. Unless of course, you do not control them. :P

@sirAthrus well, my guess is that her removal from cryo-stasis overclocked her brain's biotic capacities, but causes serious neural decay after she stopped. she "consumed" some of her power in layman's toungue to try and fight her way off the ship on her own. it's a wonder she is still alive considering the powers she unleashed and her health, she had to very accuratly aim all of that biotic energy to prevent her from causing leathal damage to herself (aka the power enarly killed her)

Alas if you read a little bit into her story and some codex entries, It turns out that biotics lose their power when their neural pathways start to decay, except for some unknown reason, Jacks neural pathways are constantly decaying...yet this is actually making her biotics become more powerful rather than less.

also her brain seems to self-repair halting brain damage and biotic power loss.

Jack is constantly increasing in power over time.

As Jack states on many occasions, were it not for the fact that shepherd is there to keep them civil she would kill miranda in a second.

Shepherd is the only thing keeping these two from tearing each other apart and he/she has all of the companions fighting at full strength which leads to the point that both Jack AND miranda, hell even Sammara are all not as strong as they claim to be.
