  • 3. Mother Hoelun’s[iii] kind teachings, Vertical script of ancient wisdom, Spacious vast steppe Cherished by our ancestors. From generation to generation Khar Khorum[iv] was our dwelling The Mongolian nation of this time Inherited this motherland. Blessed with having The sun, rising in the morning Born the Mongolian fate, eternal Inheriting the custom and tradition.

  • 2. Forever worshipping the fire and water And respecting the Earth Originated from the royals Eternally renowned, my Mongolia. Throughout its vast steppe exists Beautiful sound of Morin Khuur[i] strings Chorus supporting the long song[ii] Melodious singing for the race horses. The nation with luck and blessings Founded by Genghis Khan With history and culture of a thousand years The blue Mongolians descended from the sky.

  • 1. The blue sky in my land The golden sun forever rising The hills and vast valleys Four directions and eight corners Mighty mountains of Altai and Khangai The Empire of Outer Mongolia Under the name of Mongolia A true story of eternal prosperity The great Mongolia immortilised throughout With its great emperor Genghis Well known as the great sky The Mongolian nation with roaring hooves.

  • MONGOLIA GOOD IL LIKE MOINGOLIA WORLD EMPIRE

  • can anyone please tell me where can i find the lyrics of this song in LATIN alphabet?

  • This... this is fucking awesome.

  • Altaic Pride.

  • @ruffagii Does that explain why Red Indians share so many similarities with them? I am just wondering :P because Red Indians are good a horse ridings, the camps they built are similar to them (as in the merkit camps) and also the hairstyles that they adopt.

  • @ruffagii Hungarians are Turkish, so Turks' history older than mongols. Before the mongols there was Asia Hun Empire.

  • @ruffagii Lol DNA evidence also shows that English people and Black people are closely related too :P. Native americans are not Mongolian, neither are Hungarians/Yugoslavians. Native Americans are more closely related to Paleo-Siberian and Inuit than Mongolian. Hungarians/Yugoslavians are descendents of Magyars, who were East Asian (Chinese and Turkic) when they appeared in Europe but slowly over time mixed in with the native European (White) population to become the people they are today.

  • @ttmaster1000 Native americans are/were bunch of cowards who lost their land to invaders ! losing land to invaders is not in Mongol DNA !

  • @astalivista121 I agree. I never said that Native Americans were descended from Mongols :P.

  • @astalivista121 I fail to see how standing up to those with superior technology and getting massacred is cowardice. Yes, we may have lost our land, but it was not for lack of trying. Out matched, technologically speaking. Yet we still fought. We fought, and we died. And then when your government said they would "help" us, we were sent on a death march.

Cowardice? You want cowardice? Posting racist comments online, when you would never say such a thing to an Indian's face.

  • @ruffagii Don't forget every country where Genghis raided, that means Poland to Japan :)

  • @ruffagii yugoslavians ?? Are you dumb ?

  • @ruffagii It is said that 1 in every 200 men on the planet can trace their linege directly back to Mongol DNA.

  • one of my favorite movie, music awesome too!!!

  • Translated lyrics much appreciated !

  • Can anybody give me the lyrics with latin letters?

  • Awesome!!! Do you have the lyrics in mongol, in latin and cyrlic alphabet?

  • They sing better than Rebecca Black! THIS IS TRADITIOOOOON!!!!

  • hail from Bulgaria my nomad brothers!Great song!

  • @nash786

The Mongol empire had an advanced military technology, they never won because of greater numbers and solidified the silk route and developed cartography. the mongol empire was and has been the largest empire of all time as a single kingdom. chinghis khan was one of the few leaders whodivided the riches of a conqueredcity among his soldiers and not aristocrats.the mongols brought new ideas and religions from distant parts withthem like Islam andnot to say they had supreme survival skills

  • @MOnsterPCable fair do

  • @bash786

Actually, the mongol empire was one of the few where religious tolerance was a law. Soon they became a multiethnic society were Islam, Christianity, Buddhism and paganism could live in peace. Yes there were a lot of massacres but ur statement is like saying the Romans were not civilised for capturing slaves from germania to turn them into gladiators and prostitutes. Or France was not so for trading slaves from Africa and turn them into working machines.Even today nations arent perfct

  • great song. Never stoped being impressed about the greatest empire of all time!

  • @MOnsterPCable u know they massacred people, right?

  • @nash786

UNfortunately, as well as all empires in history. The US killed thousands of natives to expand as did Napoleon, as did the Persians, the Spanish, the Portuguese, the Vikings, the Germans and so on so forth... There's no such thing as a peaceful empire.

  • @MOnsterPCable i didnt say there was, and im not saying they were the only ones who massacred. what i am saying is that an empire that was notorious for being violent, for taking massacres and destructions to a whole other level, sacking and razing metropolises, destroying civilisations, essentially being anti-civilisation themselves, can hardly be called "the greatest empire of all time!"

they were semi-nomads, never establishing a proper civilisation that dealt in science and trade really

  • @MOnsterPCable they never solidified their infrastructure or rebuilt an economy. sure there was pax mongolia but other than that they were only a nation of war - less an empire and more of a scourge. significantly damaging the chinese and islamic states, and so, so close to bringing europe to ruin.

i only say this because it just irks me when someone describes the mongols as being the greatest empire ever.

  • This is da shit

  • vnen tas tas

  • jebem ti ja mater

  • hail to mongol brothers LONG LIVE TURKIC NATION

  • Awesome!:O)

  • Whoah this is awesome!

  • Hey turkish are just one of the groups of Mongolians. History tells it. Turkish babies borns with bluemark on the butt. We also borns with that spot. It's called Mongolian blue spot. Everybody knows except who don't know history.

  • @JinheneMongol Mongolian, central asians turks, east asians are all born with this spot. But majority of turkish from turkey are not born from this spot.

  • @abeeaveb2 Thank you for info i think nowadays turks are mixed with europeans. Yeah i know most asians borns with that spot. We say ourselves Blue Marked Mongolians.

  • @JinheneMongol is it kinda spank from god?

  • This is cool!~ It reminds me of DDR :3

    Chengiz Khan film

  • @canimkizimbicik mongol>turk btw its not chengiz its Chingis Чингис

  • Mongol vs Turks

  • The movie was AMAZING and the music was as well. I love the style of throat singing and the battle scenes. But I have to ask. Is there a name for those specific riders at 0:06 that rode out into battle very few and did that double sword thing or was that just a movie dramatization? Just as the nordic vikings had beserkers, I'm curious if those units were their "special" units.

  • @endlosmacht It was movie dramatization. Mongol army did have vanguards but not like suicide type shown in this movie. The Vanguards usually employed hit and run tactic. Zorchidai and Huildar was famous vanguards in Chinggis Khagan's (Genghis Khan) early days. Later Zev (Jebe) and Subeedei (Subutai) succeeded them and wordl famous.

  • @endlosmacht it's fake, Genghis khan is very intelligent man. he will never waste his warrior like that.

  • screw metallica this is real stuff!!!

  • \m/

  • bizarre but cool

  • the man of all the history is khan

  • Mongols like Persians.Turks hate Persia

  • @tcyeKanKusturan Genghis Khan was a very open minded man, he liked every culture and people he conquered

  • @tcyeKanKusturan not really, neither mongolia.

  • Ма тако је бре!

  • Anyone who is so inclined should read about the brief Mongol-Crusader alliance which arose in the MidEast a decade after the Mongol incursion into Poland and Austria. The campaigns against Aleppo and other Dar-Al-Islam strongholds were Pax Mongolica-Crusader joint ventures.

  • @LIbertyorDeath419 I think it would be more informative if we just read your comments, lol. I see you've studied them quite extensively.

  • @curlybob64 Thanks for the accolades. Yeah, the history of warrior cultures are my obsession whether they be Mongols, Apaches, Highlanders, etc.

  • Another method used by the Mongols was known as swarming ( bringing superior numbers to bear on isolated elements of a larger enemy force.)

  • Before the Mongols waged war they'd gather intel from the wide ranging traders along the Silk Route. Their tactics came from hunting as a way of life while their grand strategy was based on maneuver warfare instead of static attrition.

  • Mongol tactics ran the gamut from blitzkrieg ( bypassing ensconsced, fortified strongholds) to feigned retreats where they would break contact and get a numerically superior foe to pursue. Once the pursuers get strung out, the light cavalry turn and shower them with arrows.

  • death to all who oppose us!!!

  • BOZKUURT BOZKUURT YASASIN TUUUURAAN

  • The first film ROCKS!!!! Really looking forward to the next one to get released here in the States.

  • i love my Brothers. Greets From Türkiye

  • the opening is just SICK...Mongol was the best historical epic of the decade. And the 2nd one should be even better. Bodrov needs a bigger bigger budget

  • @bennyfifty Bodrov needs more mongol cast!

  • this is brilliant. i must agree with faralakaboom on his statement

  • Mongols battle tactics were simple. They were using light skilled horse archers armed with composite bows who were trowing a large barrage of arrows against their enemies. Then they were charging their enemies fiercelessly by sword. This has given them great mobility to advance very fast in enemy land and to conquer vasts territories.

  • Yasan surdmeer aimaar um be

  • I think I recognize tadanobou asano

  • This is the manliest film ever, Die Hard, eat your heart out! xD

  • I agree as well

  • Good music, but I hated the movie. It was just bad.

  • it was not bad you just suck.

  • @TheHellknight12

So you're telling me that you are impressed with a film whose climactic battle ends with the enemy retreating due to bad weather, a ridiculous portrayal of Mongolians as deciduous mask-wearing guerilla fighters, and a super Chinese guy who sucks at acting as Genghis's blood brother? Come on people, it's motherfucking Genghis Khan we're talking about here; his story had so much more potential than this shitty movie could ever capture.

  • @BanditClod

Maybe its not the best movie but it have me shown and told me much things about the live as a mongol. I also think that the movie doesnt concentrate about fights more about other things. I love the song.

  • I think if you really want to see something that would meet your expectations of telling Genghis Khan's story, then read the books by Conn Iggulden. He tells the story beautifully.

  • @BanditClod agreed. Still its okay. I know what you mean though :\ i was majorly disappointed.

  • @BanditClod

Actually the Mongol's battle tactics usally geared towards guerrilla tactics, allowing them to defeat armies many times their size. And also a sequel to this movie is planned to be released this year.

  • @curlybob64 No, not guerrilla tactics. Assymetric tactics based on combined arms, superior mobility and the ability to use long distance firepower of their recurved bows to hit from over 150 yards away on armored foes and 300 yards by volleys at unarmored foes then charging the survivors with their heavy cavalry.

  • My favorite movie ov all time. I listen to a lot ov Altan Urag's musik. They are a great group that perform wonderful musik.

  • Mongolian throat singing is awesome. I ahve some CDs of their music from my recent trip to mongolia. There's the throat singing that you hear this guy doing, adn there's also a form which sounds like a pipe being played, but it's actually throat whistling and sounds awesome.

  • reminded me of orphand land negura bunget
