I love this, but I find it sad at the same time...Here was a woman who once was beautiful, classy, talented, and wonderful...And now, she is gone, and only an eternal memory of those who have lived with her, and for generations after her to discover her and love her as the rest before them have.
Love you Audrey, they'll never be another one quite like you
@JuanMacready I'm going to forgive your words because you're a child. But, just because that and the fact that you are a citizen of the "First World", it's a good ocassion to tell you that your disagreement could be expressed with different words. Sorry my poor english. Regards.
"How would you like a punch in the nose?" "Do you know what's wrong with you?" "No, what?" "Nothing." I love how she says, "Shut the door." And she has the cheekiest laugh. So darling. "Oh you should see your face!" "What's the matter with it?" "It's lovely." "Well, when you come ON you COME ON, dont you?" "Well, come on!" (Favourite line!)
Great scene choices. The best comedic thriller not done by Hitchcock. Stanley Donen not only crafted one of the best musicals, but was versatile enough to create this masterful work. And what a cast.
Favorite scene is when Cary Grant says, "Oh, you should see your face ?,and then replies to Miss Hepburn, "It's lovely",and it truly was. Audrey (May 4) Jackie (July 28) & Princess Grace (Nov 12),all 3 born in 1929,& all 3 the epitome of what a Lady should be. Gracious, elegant, refined & diginified, what we're sorely lacking in today's society.
I couldn't possible love Audrey Hepburn any more than I do. She's so wonderful, and I love this movie too. Not to mention Cary Grant. My goodness, he's so charmind it makes me want to die.
She was really beautiful, but her beauty came from inside out, her proportions were not perfect, but still she looked as the most beautiful creature in this world. I think it was her beautiful heart and soul that gave her that magnificent glow to her face. She was unique and the new people in Hollywood are very far from her, so different. She had class, elegance, manners, sophistication and simplicity at once. God Bless Her. My favorite movie by her was "Two for the Road".
I just can't believe Cary Grant is almost 60 in this movie!! He looks like...I don't know...just incredible!!! Cary Grant was the sexiest man of all time.
Hi. Yes, this movie -due a some legal crack- is in public domain. You can watch it completely in internet, freely and legally. If you never has watched it, I recommend it. It has several suprises until its end. Suspense, comedy and romance. Enjoy it! Cheers!
