dizzin0nz, yup, truly the greatest leader in the history of the world, and just as if Aragorn, ML King, Gandhi, Mandela, Lincoln, Geo Washington had been left to fight alone - Pr. Obama will be defeated unless we devote ourselves to the cause at barackobama d o t com
A great president who sticks behind the minority even when so many in the majority don't want him to. That takes a special president! Thank you, President Obama!
Does anyone else find the music at the end strange? A bit 19th century? Does it invoke in anyone else's mind other, less equity-inducing, speeches that might have ended with the same music?
I love this man! I'm a straight ally for the gay community and my passion resulted in my first published book "The Spell of Religion and the Battle Over Gay Marriage." I am so elated that our president understands this concept. There's hope for America!
i was tearing up.... finally a president who knows what he is doing!...im so happy the track this country is on with regards to LGBT equality, and cannot wait for the ability to marry who i chose, not who law tells me i can
Truth and power speaks up. A great speech, renews my faith in Obama and I'm straight. I only say that to show you don't have to be part of a community to hope they are treated fairly. I won't become gay because I wish my LGBT neighbors to live in peace and my children won't be any worse off to know I can love them no matter what they decide is right for them in their life.
I'm not even LGBT, but those words speak to us all. Sexual orientation be what it may, we all deserve to love and be loved in return, without fear of reprisal.
We need a strong public option in the final bill. In the comment section of my profile you will find several resources that will help you become more involved. Please take a moment to sign the petitions and make a few phone calls. Thank you.
he has to be the first "real" politician/leader of a state?!
