I think women don't eat healthy and so they can't grow long nails and hair. I think they try to make all women feel like it is BAD to have long nails and hair just because they aren't able to do it. So, I think it is more jealousy than anything else and they use the word "trend" to cover up for it.

No one should be made to feel bad about their choice!

Keep bucking the trend, nails this long are so very very rare today. My wife cought some critizism from another woman for having just ONE-EIGHTH OF AN INCH showing past her fingertips saying they looked "...nasty and desperately needed to be cut." From the early 1900's only until about 1990 or so long nails were very popular and common and a symbol of beauty. Nowadays even the slightest amount of overhang considered ugly, disgusting, and gross. Your nails are VERY beautiful without polish.

@RDG484 that's because women have become lazy asses and don't wanna keep up the work to care for them , so they come up with excuses not to grow them like " nasty " and " disgusting " . the burn is though that men LOVE long nails because there's nothing a guy likes better than a back scratch .... honestly.... and if their girlfriends or wives won't grow their nails out and scratch their guys back , he'll make sure another gal does , trust me . don't underestimate long nails girls .

When i was child i bite my nails too.

And one day i just said "stop", and i start to use a nail polish. After that i start to paint them and now it's impossible to me to be without nails.

I think you need few months like me and you will have manicure.
