Its high enough to avoid anti-air gun and flares to avoid missile. It must have lot of fuel in it too.. Looking at it size and weight.. i dont think it can land on aircraft carrier so probably gotta fly from the nearest air base to provide air support to the troop which wont be near..

Most air defenses can operate well beyond 300km and are radar guided. The General rule of aerial warfare is that if you send aircraft in a area with sufficient surface to air weapons (even 50 year old soviet SA-2's) your going to lose your aircraft. That why the US and most other air forces in the world preform SEAD operations or bombard SAM sites with cruise missiles before any other air operation is preformed.
