@vandal2k6 the reason for playing behind the car is field of view. In a real car you can see front, left, and right. In a racing game that's not possible with the cockpit, hood, or bumper cams unless you have a 3 monitor setup.

I actually downloaded the full game and played it for about two hours. I'm very disappointed with it. To start off driving physics suck massive balls, it just sucks in every way. You can easily pull off turns at 120km/h with no braking, and the car just feels like a toy. I can't even adjust my control settings, having to use gears with the Y and B button, that's something that i seriously FUCKING hate. I hope this game will give me the same exp Test Drive gave me back in the days soon enough.
