  • Hmm, does this guy think i dont have a wire brush and some emory cloth? Ground created without drilling any holes

  • OK I HAVE A MA AUDIO 1200 WATT AMP AND I HAVE A BANDPASS BOX WITH ONE SPEAKER NOT RUNNIN AND THE OLD ONE IN THE BOX IS PRETTY GOOD THOUGH ... HOW DO I GET THE SUB TO MAKE THAT LOW CRISP NOISE THAT MAKES YOUR EARS FUZZY !!! LIKE OTHER CARS ON THE STREETS !!!! NEED HELP PLEASE !!!!!

  • @OBARRVAGOS Ported is the only way to spl young son...

  • @OBARRVAGOS turn off caps lock

  • @WillArm13 SHUT THE FUCK UP I CAN DO WHA EVER I WANT IN MY LIFE I AINT TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO ..... EXEPT TO SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT HOW I WRITE FOO

  • does bridging a 2 channel amp create more heat and shorten the life of the amp?

  • MASSIVE NECK!!

  • I just got two 10's & 800 watt amp, both interfire. Not hitting as much as I think it should. My amp seems to like to over heat too. I change the ground wire bolt, & its better, no more over heating. But I still think im trying to push more power out of my subs then allowed. I havent upgraded my car speakers yet tho, will that make a big difference? someone help me out. Im new to this stuff.

  • I disagree. Overheating is caused by ONLY clipping or oscillation. Most "cheaper" amps lie about specs so much, most 3000W amps barely make 300wrms at way below 4ohm. Rather look at the voltage coming out of the amp to make your decisions and not the packaging. Multiple the fuse with 13.8 or 14.4 to get True wattage.

  • Finally I reached the tuning steps after 2/3 half days to install everything.

  • id have to disagree its perfectly ok to use an existing bolt as a ground as long as you make sure you have a good contact and you sand the paint away underneath whatever your attaching it to it will work exactly the same as if you drilled a new hole and sanded it

  • @reap62 No it is not. It is possible to run into ground loops that way.

  • @JeffXBL you're technically right I'm Sorry my comment was a little bit too general you do need to avoid certain bolts but a bolt securing say a seat the the floor of the car would work fine I know from experience what they sound like hooked up that way and there is no real measurable difference

  • is a kicker 1000.1 good because thats what i have also i havent used it yet so i dont know how it performs

  • @romenator666 RF T15K

    lol v

  • I HAVE A MA AUDIO AMP 1100 WATT UNDER MY PASSENGER SEAT ??? WILL IT OVER HEAT ??? IS MA AUDIO A GOOD BRAND ??? OK OK I HAVE A MA AUDIO 10 INCH 2 SUBS BANDPASS BOX WITH A MA AUDIO AMP 1100 WATT UNDER MY PASSENGER SEAT WILL THE AMP OVER HEAT !!! PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!

  • @OBARRVAGOS that's probably not a very good idea, i would try to move it someplace else that has more ventilation

  • @CoorsLightIsBomb WHY NOT A GOOD IDEA ??? HELP ME !!!!

  • @OBARRVAGOS no ventilation! you should put it in your trunk(if you have a car) im not sure if MA is a good brand but ive done some research and they seem to be pretty good quality

  • @airsoftbro123 OH OK THANKS !!!! THANK YOU !!!!

  • @OBARRVAGOS also being under the seat...most cars have heater vents under the seat too so its prolly settin on top of that vent unless ur car doesnt have vents under the seat and when u turn the heat on in ur car some of that hot air is going to be blowing up under ur amp and that cant be good...if it was cold air blowing then that be great though

  • @copperheadno2 OH OK THNKS MAN ....

  • @copperheadno2 OH OK THNKS MAN :)

  • @mooboocoo123 wire them with as little resistance as possible...if your amp and subs can handle it try wiring them down to 1 ohm...thats the least resistance your gonna get which will deff help

  • @sjjdiienno1 thank you . now i got a 2 ssl speakers and a ssl amp the speakers are 2000watt and the amp 1600watt if i want a louder sound should i get a more watt amp or more watt speakers ( and are jackhammer speakers and amps is thAT A GOOD BRAND

  • @sjjdiienno1 wire speaks to 1 ohm? ...

  • Do you know anything about MTX Jackhammer amps??

  • Rockford Fosgate is a good amp?

  • @theprofessor23 of course. RF is one of the finest brands in the market. You need a lot of cash for RF amps...

  • my amp is grounded to my trunk by an existing bolt. would it be a good idea to sand the spot to a shine where it is located?

  • @tyleristhecoolestint yeah, u dont want any non-metals interfering with the connection so it wud be a good idea to sand it down

  • @tyleristhecoolestint Yes, I've had an amp shutting its self down because it wasn't getting enough power, once sanded clean it worked fine.

  • @tyleristhecoolestint ..ya for sure..it would be a better conection

  • Plz help...........I had a 4 channel amp installed in my car, the amp is currently running only two 6*9 speakers (the other 2 channels are not used) and one of the speaker gets heated up and smells as if it is burning............I've interchanged the speakers but still the same speaker heats up ........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......... what's the reason for it?........What's the solution?

  • THe only amp I had a real seriouse overheating problem with was my power acoustik 1600 watt- but that was due to incorrect wiring- i've seen friends with all sorts of goofy brands and most of them accually arn't all that bad imo- I've got a boss right now and the power for the money made me buy it and the things really is great never even gets warm outlasted 2 kenwoods I've owned- unless u've had one fail you, you really can't knock every other brand just bc you can afford the best

  • i have two L7 15s with an avionixx amp 2400m u think is good for my speakers or i should get a different amp i got it hook up with a 0w wire wat do u think i should do!

  • @oldschoolhunter

Okay there hill billy... Chill with ur buy USA crap ... not everything made in usa is that great... especially not the cars ... buy foreign ppl ... its cheaper and its good quality lol

  • anywayeeeeee with the buy this buy that people how bout everyone shuts up and let people buy what they wanna buy

  • loolololl crap!

  • @oldschoolhunter like which ones would you recommend?

  • Diablo ftw.

  • Why not just use the battery terminal as ground?

  • want your ground wire as short as possible. inless your mounting your amp less than 12 inches from your battery you're just making it a bad ground. lol

  • Sure, you could do that as long as your battery is within 12 inches of your amp.

You don't want to have a ground wire over 12 inches.

  • because youre a retard

  • @TimpBizkit If you have enough cable to run the neg on your amp to your neg on your battery then go for it. Cuz thats basically all grounding the amp does, is return the power to the battery via the chassis of the car. But if you use a cable instead of the chassis, it should be better.

  • Oh, like your ever so stabile cars that just never break? Noticed the sarcasm...?

  • i just got a BOSS amp its a chaos c700 is it a good amp or a cheap 1?? please answer to diz

  • BOSS amps are the lowest of the low.

  • I would buy a Blaupunkt, Alpine, Sony or JBL. They know what they're doing.

The more watts of the amp, the more it's gonna waste, if it's a cheap one. Make sure to wait a little while, if the budget is low, and buy a proper one from a brand with a good reputation, like the ones I mentioned.

  • minus the blaupunt german garbage. :)

  • @ChromatopelmaDude Sony is garbage bro. i give JBL props tho.

  • @SuBLiMeXGoLd

I disagree... by friend's JBL subwoofer suddenly stopped working. He works with car stereo, so he is an expert in ICE. And he says "stay away from JBL". So I'm gonna follow that.

He uses Alpine, Pioneer and Blaupunkt now, and it sounds awesome!

  • @SuBLiMeXGoLd Sony makes great stuff..... except when it comes to car audio- the only thing I would buy is subs- which are pretty weak- but imo I think they hit nice n crisp- had 2 before and sold em bc need $ gonna buy another 12" to put in my backseat.... trunks full

  • hello i need help with my Oxygen(O2) 1800W amp ..i have it installed its playing and working fine but its now pushing what its suppose to..i have 2 12" LANZAR 1600W (each) subs but they sound horrible.did i install this system wrong??

  • how may watts is ur subs.............i have two jbl subs and i have a punch amp pushing 1000watt and it sounds great....if u realy want something that will make them sound good u might whatn to go with a kicker, jbl, jl, or hifonics.... those are just some of the amp i used and think are good

  • Hifonics are realy good amps!

  • I have mine on top the box and I ride with the windows down so that it wont heat up but ive never had a heat problem either

  • thats what i always do otherwise i dont play it loud if i cant roll down the windows

  • thats a nice alpine

  • Not to trash alpine but the PDX signal looks distorted and clipped at very low gain settings. Don't know why but we benched 4 and they looked the same then benched a rockford t1000 and looked good. Not sure about other alpines though.
