  • Sgt. Slaughter is wearing the 1980's G.I. Joe emelem on his outfit! YO JOE!!!

  • Women of Wrestling vs. World Wrestling Enterainment

  • @32rodrick it was the WWF back then

  • As per WIkipedia, the debut airdate of the NBC station mentioned as celebrating 35 years on NBC(as NBC game shows did honor stations in this way around this time)is April 9, 1954. Ergo this might be from about April. ISTR these puzzle rounds debuting in early 1989 on the syndicated show and carrying over to the daytime show.

  • Except that the last episode of Daytime WLOD aired on 9/1/89. 227 reruns replaced it on the NBC lineup on 9/4/89. THe last three months of the NBC run added a bonus round for the winning contestant(s)(a few weeks of shows had two civilians and one celeb on each team). THis has to be from between January 3-May 1989, ergo(Inside Edition bowed on January 2nd, and NBC had New Years' programming on MOnday 1/2/89)

  • It's on a MOnday Night as ALF is promoted. Couldn't figure out which episode from an ALF episode guide was being plugged, however.

  • @zachhoran i beleve it's the episode "Lies" where ALF is accidentally photographed by a tabloid photographer

    it aired on 9/25/89

  • If it's from September 1989 and it's the NBC run, it has to be from 9/1/89, as the last NBC WLOD aired that day.

  • Imagine if Hulk Hogan were there.

  • @Jessyleppert oh YEAH!
