I am a carnivorous animal lover. I eat a ton of meat on a daily basis and I eat deer and wild hog that I hunt. That being said I love animals and would never hurt one without reason. I believe in animal welfare not animal rights, the difference being that I am opposed to unnecesary suffering inflicted on animals but I do not support efforts to ban or regulate meat, fur ect.
i eat meat... buuut only on very special occasions and definetly NOT power farmed and fast food killed animals as i am very pro animal and im for animal rights :)
i am a vegetarian and i believe all animals should have rights and in case have protection laws like for pit bulls they aren't mean in less the people who own them are cruel yet everyone is scared of them and some get killed for no reason they should have a law to protect the innocent animal till proven a threat to life
i eat meat but there is a difference between hunting and slaughter. Hunting, obey the laws set forth by the wild life game and fisheries- hunt what is in season and don't hunt more then the laws allow.. Slaughter- not obeying the laws and killing more then you should and killing an entire species to the point of extinction...if you don't obey the laws set for by wgf then you slaughter.. i prefer organic meat and poultry
i eat meat- dont like soy or tofu soo i need my minerals some how-, but i dont care if people are vegetarian, or vegan. if that makes them happy or feel like they are doing something or its for a medical condition then go them. i dont thing anyone should be pressured in to doing something. if someones not vegetarian, vegetarians shouldnt push it on you to become one and vice versa.
I think PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) does a very good job in fighting for animal rights, I support that. I would say I am an omnivore, I could stop eating meat, I dont NEED to have meat so becoming a vegetarian wouldnt be a problem except I would have to do something about getting protein into my body and pretty sure milk and eggs is ok for vegetarians
Omnivore. I try not to focus on "animal cruelty" because this planet will be devoid of life probably in the next few thousand years rendering everything we fight for and argue about completely irrelevant.
i'm vegan. its one of those things i take seriously, but honestly it tends to make me more of a "freak" than being goth does. there might be a large correlation in the goth community due to identification with under-dogs. many of us have experienced subjugation, discrimination, or persecution for being goth. so it might make it easier to identify with an abused animal under those circumstances as well. many of us have detached from other zeitgeists too so questioning mores tend to be a common.
I respect animal rights. I believe that animals should be treated humane. I am myself not a vegan. I eat 95% raw vegan and whole foods. BUT the rest 5% is animal products such as seafood, milk products and honey. I very rarely eat meat or chicken, and if I ever do, I always eat grass fed and animals that were well treated. The mass production of meat and dairy in the US disgusts me. If you ever watched Food Inc and other such documentaries, you know what I mean. How about you? Are u vegan, etc?
@vampressjarat666 It's ok to have a little bit of animal protein and such. We are not herbivores by nature. I think if it's a moral issue for people, then I completely get it. But to me a perfect diet for human beings is a balanced/natural diet of whole foods such as raw fruits and vegetables and a very small amount of animal products. I personally try to imitate human diet of ancient people (hunter/gatherers). They didn't have a lot of animal protein, mostly fruits, herbs etc.
@vampressjarat666 Oh yeah, I so agree. I love ethnic foods. Since I grew up in the middle east, -Arabic food is very dear to me. I often try to make Arabic/Middle Eastern food because it brings me into my childhood memories of Yemen, Lebanon, and Egypt. I can never forget those amazing years. But since I am actully Russian, I also love Russian food. :) Oh, and I also love sushi. :) I really enjoy cuisine of all countries. lol :) I guess I just love food! LOL LOVE YOU girl! Jadu
I'm an omnivore but I have an unconditional love for animals.
