  • Just withdraw, can they chase after US troops. If they can, that will is our best opportunity to plan a trap for ...

  • jk jk jk jk jk jk jkjk

  • BORING

  • Note that Obama has Bush's DoD Secretary Gates telling him what to do in Iraq. Iraq will end the way Vietnam did. There is no question of that.

  • @HoneyBear1297 Don´t you know what Vietnam is ???????????

  • No.

  • I hope soldiers stay ther, they deserve it!

  • why deserve it ?maybe you want to get killed ? i fuck you up fucking jew , christian suck my dick faggot

  • mutha fuka am on ur side,

  • Holy shit, the new world order controls youtube as well.

Its scary that they can see everything we say.

  • Biden's a hypocrite. Hillary flip flops. Obama wants to stay. Dodd wants an effective time table to pull out. Richardson wants to stay. Edwards flip flops.

Kucinich is the real deal. Why?

Cuz he's not a CFR/BIlderburg/Trilateral Commission puppet bought out by corporate America.

Kucinich, Paul and Gravel are anti New World Order. They're for constitutional rights.

  • I say if they pull troops out of Iraq, they had better be redeployed in Afghanistan as it is one thing to write of Iraq (oh what little patience we have) but not Afghanistan, not what this all started off about.

I find the fact those other than Biden voted against the new armoured vehicles show they care more about political manoeuvring than the welfare of troops.

Politicians balance the anti-war/pro-troop agenda with "Bring Soldiers home" as it appeals to the lowest common denominator.

  • the democrats are soooo sutpid for ignoring biden and voting for an idiot lyk obama

  • Thats what Edwards says, but thats not realistic, are we just gonna leave all our American citizens from Haliburton etc... in the Green Zone. Just for corporations to pack up and pull out their investments will take at least 2 years ... are we just going to leave US citizens in Iraq? Has anyone else here ever even been to the Green Zone? Guess why Biden actually knew what he was talking about???

  • I like Biden's response.

  • thank god he's VP, but what was Obama's response?

  • awesome job biden

  • I cringe when Clinton speaks.

  • the next 4 years u better not listen to presidential adresses LOL

  • stop the war in lraq now not in 2009 in2008 it will be to late

  • think about it, if we pull the troops out now what would happen to Iraq? do you just want to let a country destroy ourselves, it is our fault that the country is in this state, what we need to do, is seek help from other nations so that iraq has the aid to rebuild itself or do you just want to turn it into somalia and let warlords detroy thier own people over thier.

  • who cares about iraq the blew our buildings out of the sky and killed thousands... dont you want more of our people to be saved instead of letting them get killed by bombs and mines and terrorists???

  • AMEN! Bring my husband home and let them blow each other up. Britian already pulled out completely why can't we? But then again we have to make sure they are not going to try and blow us up again.

  • Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.

They had no weapons of mass destruction.

We're there because of the current administration's lies.

Al-Queda's forces grow - from the dissent of our troops being in their nation - daily.

We'll never be safe as long as we're there.

    There's no reason to stay.

  • ditto...

  • Well we had no reason to go in, but every reason to stay. Like it or not, we can't walk away from our own mess.

Basra is a shining example though the rest of the country needs more time. But people all jumped on a bandwagon to got to war, now they are hopping on the wagon going the other way.

Lets not be selfish as to simply pull out, the majority of deaths are Iraqi civilians killed by extremists, without international military support we will have to bear the guilt of abandoning them.

  • because the iraqi troops took over is Basra, where the British pulled out. We are working to train the Iraqis to take over for our brigades as they pull out. We are doing what the British did, but we have many, many more troops.

  • I am illegal Mexican and me and my brother Pedro make

$15,000 each every month because we are not stupd and

lazy like most white and black Americans. We trim

trees and do carpentry (under table for no taxes) AND

we both get $950.00 welfare and $450.00 food stamp

money for our many children. I thank you to all tax

paying Americans for making my life so much easy. We

move to bigger house soon. Gracias!

  • let me tell you man- i tell people i don't like mexicans in the usa. but you know why? a few troublemaking ones have ruined it for the whole race. i thank you for being hardworking and anti-crime; keep it up and all the best.

  • Gosh...I love Joe Biden....the guy is the fucking man up there

  • since she's the most likely next president, clinton's answer was especially disturbing to me. the pentagon will "plan to withdraw" when its told to withdraw. it's VERY disingenuous of her to pretend the military isn't fully answerable to civilian leadership -- because it clearly is. the frikking pentagon will "plan to withdraw" as soon as it reasonably expects to be ordered to withdraw.

  • jeez, as a guy who's been to iraq more than once, i really dislike this democratic tendency to hedge. yes, we could goddamn get out within six months if told to.

  • I think there's a poll from CNN and Hilary got the most votes.

  • I am voting for DENNIS KUCINICH, the only person with PASSION, COMPASSION and INTEGRITY.

Hey CNNN, why don't you give DENNIS KUCINICH as much time as you give Hillary?

And why do you highlight asking him the "difficult" questions that you know will make him unpopular, instead of (for instance), asking him about his HEALTHCARE PLAN? Hmm? But I guess we all know why.

  • Hillary and Obama get more time since they seem to be the more 'popular' nominees for the Democratic president... They earned the most money... and money is basically what determines how they will provide for campaigns and TV propaganda.

  • Biden/McCain '08!!

  • Iraq will be a vassel to the US & UK...So leave are lads there!

  • Hey pam u know ur politics so 'u go my green- eyed grlfrnd!! s clear dat d public s fed up wid d same washingtonian insiders like Clinton n Biden, imperialistic neo-cons like Romney n McCain, n Lobbyist puppets like all candidates but d magical trio... Obama Edwards n Kusinich. If any of dem hold office, America will once again return to the liberal agenda dat made d country so great

  • In the five years since terrorists attacked US President Bush has liberated 51 Million in TWO countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al- Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya without firing a shot, got Syria to leave Lebanon after 29yrs occupation, captured Saddam, killed his sons, killed Zarqawi, and has Osama cowering in the mountains after Clinton let him go free.

US soldiers lost ; 500 per year average

  • It could have been done with the help of the UN and with the people of those countries. Freedom on our standards is not the same for others. Ask an Iraqi if he or she is free.

  • Now watch this drive.

  • America should understand that they have to deal with their shit in Iraq. remember that there was't any terrorism before. they are losing, no doubt. don't forget that Iraq was supposed to benefit the American economy according to bush, just try to take the minimum loose possible.

  • NO terrorism before the war? 9/11?

  • Yes there was. There was a bombing in the Towers in 93. Bush set up 9/11, Bush needed a reason to get into Iraq.

  • Part 1 :"The 9/11 conspirisits believe the BUsh administration...pentagon officials...rudy guiliani and his administration...new york fire and police departments...wtc mechanics and janitors...airline personal...the clinton administration...all conspiried to fly commercial jets into the twin towers...and their own pentagon...and plant explosives in 1992...killing thousands of their fellow americans

  • Part 2: ...all planning for a possibly untrackable war in the middle east which would bring approval ratings for the administration to an all time low. Why would Americans do this you ask? MONEY. and what better way to get money than to topple the center of american finance and send the economy into a downward spiral. Who orchestrated this?

  • Part 3: the bush administration a full 7 1/2 months after taking office. apparentaly the 1992 attacks on the wtc which were meant to take out the towers were just a failed attempt by the clinton administration..so bill kindly handed over the plans to george in 2001. He just couldn't get the job done. yes it all makes sense...they clearly pulled the wool over our eyes on this one."

  • Biden and McCain are the only candidates with realistic plans to either win the war...or keep out troops safe

  • Dennis Kucinich is the only candidate who has voted against the war from the start, and will bring the troops home NOW. Hindsight's 20/20, but that doesn't help us. Here's a man who had the foresight to know that this war was wrong from the beginning. Kucinich 2008*Our Only Hope

  • Damn!! How many questions about the war do the candidates have to answer to hear their same response given during previous debates this year.

  • i go with supportin the war and sending anti land mind vehicales .

  • i agree! i support mccain and biden for 2008

  • Vote Mike Gravel or Ron Paul in 2008 for America's future and Freedom!

  • Hey debate watchers, want some comic relief?

Check out our latest Campaign Recap.

    - The Sock

    youtube + /watch?v=9hbA77sLeIc

  • Dennis is the only one that will get us out of Iraq.

  • notice how hilary looks at the youtube screen when she says she's "so sorry" for the loss of that guy's son... like if he could see her through the screen LMAOF... seriously though- the sooner we get out the sooner Iraq can restore itself.

  • As soon as we pull out of their their all gonna die, just like in south vietnam. all the opponents of the insurgency will be killed off and replaced. what I think we should do is pull out slowly and better our image in other parts of the world like africa & stuff.

  • FUCK THAT AMERICA NEVER LOST A WAR AND WE DONT PLAN TO I SAY WE KEEP THE TROOPS THERE AS WELL AS MY SELF AND FIGHT UNTIL SHIT GETS DONE OUT THERE AND WE WIN AND KILL ALL THOSE FUCKING PPL IN IRAQ THAT HATE AMERICA. FUCK democratic PPL MAN THEY ALWAYS ARE TRYING TO PULL OUT OF SHIT.

  • wow budy, take breath, and site down.....you some kind of war freak?, eh?....Mr.lunchbox (lmfao) are you kidding me! There are good people there, and bad, same as in the U.S.A, and in Canada, so do we have to kill us all now too?, get a life buddy, in hell!

  • Vietnam, the war of 1812 and the invasion of Cuba. Three military operations by the USA; all failures. Of course, the war in 1812 was with the premier super-power of the day, so it was understandable.

  • really? we lost vietnam, and the korean war from the 50's is technically ongoing and we aren't doing so well on that front. We pulled out of vietnam and it was a good thing.

Not one more dime not one more death for this godforsaken oil war!

  • Um, he was at the very end. What do you mean what about Kucinich ?

  • Richardson is the only one willing to get our troops out asap.

  • I think it's kind of funny how people keep say how they are goin to get our troops back while they don't have any plan of how they are going to do it. this is not as simple as putting them all in a ship and get them back.

  • oh please the average american voter wouldn't give a shit about how many airplanes or boats or plan you have just as long as you get it done. Im sure the military knows how to put their men on planes to send them home. All they have to do is leave the coffins behind this time!!

  • but if they send them home now, all thw money and life that were lost in the war will be all for nothing. while i agree that we should start this war to begin with, i do believe that we should finish our job there or all those men that die will be dead for nothing

  • Its funny that "it takes soooo long" for us to pull out troops, when this "war" started hundreds of thousands of troops were on iraq soil in a week. A brigade a month, WHAT BULLSHIT. QUIT MAKING FUCKING STUPID EXCUSES AND GET THE TROOPS HOME NOW!

  • wow! BIDEN sp. that happens to be the smartest thing ive heard today.

  • No one can say his kids won't have to fight for their freedom. If we could be sure that we will never be attacked again, we could promise him that. The fact is that we have to fight this war of terrorism. Iraq is where we have drawn the line. We have killed or captured 60,000 of them there. Better there, than here!

  • Ron Paul!!!!!

  • Ever notice how the people saying "We can't pull out of Iraq" and claiming things will get worse if we leave, are the same people who were wrong about everything else? The people who thought Iraq had WMD's, the people who thought we would be greeted as liberators, are the same people saying thins will be worse when we leave.. I mean, how many times do you have to be wrong before people just stop listening to you?

  • I absolutely agree with you. They don't have any credibility.

  • Would you like it if people did that to you? You make a prediction for the future and it doesn't turn out exactly the way you thought. So does that mean no one should take advice from you? Should no one hear you out at all, just ignore you? Everyone's human and no one is perfect, just remember that.

  • Everyone should have an opinion, and if possible, they should all be listened to.. but, we tried it their way.. we went to war assuming saddam had WMD's, we were told the war wouldn't last longer then a year, we were told the iraqi people would greet us as liberators, we were told we would have the world's support. none of that was true, why should we believe them about pulling out of Iraq. If you want to take advice from someone like George Bush, it should be how to win an election, not a war.

  • Good comments. These debates are really great for the American people. Seems like honest logic has been missing for the last six years. let's move on.

  • yeah good fucking call. just like nam when we pull out mass killings start popping up you dont fucking care about anyone over there we pullout then fucking thousands upon thousands of iraqis who will die with honor will lose there lives because people stopped listening.

  • RON PAUL

  • 5 stars for Dennis

  • agreed

that 6 month guy is bluffing, he's gonna be a bad nleader

  • Audio isn't working on this at this moment.

  • Never mind, just a load glitch on Opera.

  • Biden has the best plan for Iraq.

  • What happened to questions about what happened on 911???

  • What questions are there?

  • the whole internet is full of them plus you have some of the most credible people in the fiild in this country and around the world including Generals questioning many things that day.

  • Well, yeah but most the internet conspiracies are BS. And what questions are the specifically asking?

  • allthough most Americans have a difficult time putting it all together. Our freedoms are slowly but sureley being taken away in the name of 911 and the security that we "need". That is a concept most see as foreign. Those that understand history understand that this is precisely what Hitler did in the 194o's to accomplish his goals and establishing a dictatorship whish the US is already under, even if not officially announced yet.

  • Biden gives a nice honest response here. The other candidates seem to fail to grasp the time frame here.

  • This war was faught with underfunded equipment and armor in the first place. Now they are saying we made a mistake and people have died. I say it is a failure by everyone in charge. They sent them there unprepared equipment wise so get them the hell out now, it's the least these pricks can do.

  • Biden and Clinton made more sense in this round than the others

  • Pulling out before Iraq is stable and Al Qaeda is under control will only lead to more flags on the walls in American homes. The democrats understand this.

  • Iraq will never be stable without the strong arm of a dictator. Al Qaeda will never be under control either...terrorism will never go away. It's a lost cause.

  • Just what makes you think Al Quaeda is so powerful there?

  • I would've never though of even considering a democrat for office, but now Biden has me thinking. That was the smartest thing I heard all night. FINALLY, someone gets it, it just happens to be a democrat.

  • Just because military leaders SAY that it would take more than 6 months, does not mean it can't be done. Who are the CAN'T DOERS? Patton could march his army long distances in a matter of days, and that was over 60 years ago with less technology. Richardson and Kicinich are correct, the others are wrong.

  • We would be spending over time times the amount each day if we did that. That's billions of dollars. If the Brig. Generals and Lieutenant Generals say it can't be done, it can't. They KNOW what they're are doing, unlike many politicians. The reason we are winning so slowly is because we didn't and won't give the military what they need to win fast.

  • If the people of Iraq support their new government it is up to THEM to defend it. If they do not, it is only a puppet government anyway as surely as that of Saigon and you better have those helicopters ready because you're going to have the same scene as 1975. Leaving 50,000 troops behind won't matter anymore than it did then.

  • What a stupid question for CNN to select since all the candiates have already stated how they feel in previous debates.

  • Again, Hillary shows that she thinks before she acts. Biden focus is only on onw issue not the full picture. Biden is right we need to do it slowly. Hillary is working to set this in motion. Make a plan of action before you act.

  • point for Biden, he's won a lot of points in this debate. I'll take a look at him. Hillary lost points, if that guy was there I bet he'd sock Hillary

  • Debating the Debate: CNN/Youtube dems, Charlotte(SC) 7/23/07

    watch?v=zlb_tLQKCNM

  • I have to say Biden won that round...One point for Biden..
