Gverb isn't generally used to create the echo-y effect after the siren starts. I make my room size 100, my dry signal level 0, my early reflection level and tail level to -13, my reverb time to 8.2, my input bandwidth and damping to 5.0. I actually vary these settings very slightly in the Left and Right speakers -guitarguy19852 has a tutorial on how to do that.
