you need to go closer, can't see anything in that corner....
I adore those vintage cotton tablecloths, and they are getting so hard to find at value prices. Mostly you will see them for 20 to 40 dollars and more, I did get lucky a few weeks back at a thrift store, though, and then found another this week. I just wish I was into them several years ago when I saw them all the time for next to nothing.
@freespirithome Yeah, that heavy cotton, so cool. I even buy the slightly stained ones if I come across them at a good price, they make great lawn blankets for the kid's baseball games, and are perfect as little beach blankets. The last one I bought is really ugly, some sort of colonial brick design. If you ever buy any you want to sell, let me know!
thank you..do you mean the planter that is turned on it's side??? Those were my Aunt's who passed away a year ago this year...They were chipped so instead of getting rid of them, I placed them on their side in front of a perennial flower I had in the garden. I too like the look.
A natural garden - I love it! Love all your little nooks and crannies...fun! I have a pair of those red rubber boots, I put soil in them and planted chicken and hens in them, they kind of spill over the top of the boot, it looks very nice.
It's great that we add our own little personal touches and make our house nad garden our own.
Was it hard NOT to go to gar sales today? I'd probably miss not going. Today was another "book day" for me.............Bless you and yours, Angela, Beata
I am so loving my chicken and the hens. I have tons going now. I had some in my grandfather's boot a few years back also.It wasn't hard not to go yesterday,,I'm stunned, lol. My girlfriend's husband dragged her though (she didn't want to go either). She bought me an apron..that's all she got.lol
what is the name of the plant that is making an arch over your chair in the corner of the yard ? oh i love when you give a tour. you have given me some great ideas. love the rain boots..
Can you believe I never planted that sucker..I believe it is a grape vine plant. The other one is a wisteria that I got as a clipping but it is taking forever to grow...
Everything looks so cozy! Do you leave all the table cloths and chair coverings outside all the time? Everything would mold and be ruined with our crazy weather.
I leave everything out..even the towels. The sun ends up drying everything off once it's out. The deck gets really hot so it dries everything off real fast.

Most of the tableclothes that are at yard sales never go for more than 1 or 2 dollars. I totally love the vintage material.
