anyone knows if with v-studio you can you edit all the audio tracks WITHOUT the computer,like you do on a digital multitracker like a Tascam 788 ?

in wave recorder mode, it is not connected to a computer and you record to an SD card. It only records, however, in stereo- you cannot record to 4 tracks for instance.

When in Control Surface mode hooked up to a computer, you can address individual tracks in your project and record to, I believe, up to six channels (8 inputs, 6 outputs)
