None of those add ons will stop a round, as it was never meant to do so.

If you noticed, it is also a side folding stock, which I find useless for me. The thing is... the knuckle where it folds rubs the top of the knuckle on you thumb. It does wear after extensive use. I would like to swap it out for one that does not fold:)

@TheMCC91 Some type of assault rifle would be good for a sort of stand off weapon. Speaking of bug out, put together an "EDC" (Every Day Carry) bag. That, I like to call my bug in bag... That is what will help me get to my cache of supplies and gear:)
@TheMCC91 There is nothing wrong with a shotgun yet you need something for long range. Most choose an AR or AK47. I would go with any firearm cal that is most available 9mm or 45 cal pistol, and a AK 47 7.62x39 can't go wrong bro.

@ivan36ss If and when you decide to upgrade your body armor try looking up pinnacle armor. They are the makers of dragon skin body armor.
You can see youtube videos of it stopping a grenade at point blank.
You can keep the carrier you have and just buy some plate inserts, they are flexible discs that are held in place by molded heavy duty foam.
You will be amazed.
